Which would be more fun?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

So I'm coming to you for some help on a decision and then some building advice.
I'm playing a game today and I have two ideas that, to me, seem less common.
The game is level 12. 4d6 stat generation. Some 3.5 is probably OK by DM.

I am looking to either roll a Magus/Assassin (race unknown, maybe a word caster).
Or
I am thinking if a Gnoll Antipaladin. (From ARG, even if not optimal maybe one level of assassin to make a betraying killer. Could be fun.)

What do you all think?

Edit:: these would both fit within party composition.

Sovereign Court

Well, clearly you have your heart set on being evil (as an evil alignment is necessary to be an assassin and in order to be an antipaladin you MUST be chaotic evil) but ultimately, it all depends on whether you want to cast spells and then sneak up on your adversary when they aren't looking or if you want to be a little more direct in your approach.

Another thing to consider is, what kind of group are you going to be with?

There's probably more to think about, but that's all I am able to come up with. Hope this helps! :-)
