Not so much RAW as common sense:
Well, you might have to make a jump (Acrobatics) to get in range to make the grapple attempt. If it hits and you start a grapple, you're hanging on to the grappled creature (because you must remain adjacent).
Check your combined weight against the amount that Levitation can lift. If you're now overweight, you start to move downwards at a rate proportional to the excess weight.
If the grapple is broken, you fall to the ground.

Thanks for the responses, although i did a bad job of specifying the situation in which the grapple encountered the levitating. The hero was on a ledge grappling and opponent that was 5ft away(reach) but levitating over an abyss. How does the physics work with the Pathfinder rule system. I saw it as the levitating creature is basically weightless and loses the dex bonus to their cmd. Any thoughts??
