Document titles and e-readers

The Exchange

So, I love using your PDF documents during play, but am constantly fighting to find them. Maybe its just me...

I use a Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ and when I put official Paizo PDF files on it, it defaults to the document title, instead of the name of the book itself.

This means, if I want to open up People of the Sand, I have to remember that the book is ACTUALLY titled PZO9441E. If I want to use my Nook to run Song of the Sea Witch, I have to open up PZOPSS0306E.

Very irritating.

Is there any way to CHANGE the title of the documents so that they show up as their actual name?

If I dig down into the folders on the device, the documents show up as whatever I have named the PDF file, but in the library list and on the home screen, it uses the Title.

Does anyone else use a Nook and know a way around this?

With the current security features on our PDFs, altering the metadata that includes the Title isn't possible. This is an issue we're aware of and have it on our radar that the metadata should retain the Title, though there isn't an ETA for when it will be implemented.

What I did with our nook is made a book shelf for each book and named it as the book.
