I had a question that is derived from this post http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2rbgm?Number-of-Characters-Experience from Ryan Dancey second posting on that thread. If someone could please clarify the following for me.
“There is no specific reason we should not let you pay for multiple characters to be "active" on a given account. There's no functional difference between 1 person paying for 1,000 characters and 1,000 people paying for 1 character. In fact, trying to do something useful with 1,000 characters will be suboptimal considering the network topology between us and you, but if you want to saturate the network and accept the downsides, who are we to argue?”
If I am understanding the above correctly we are limited to 1 character to an account (and speculatively speaking) if we wanted an alt we would have to pay a separate subscription for said alt, but it would be linked to the same account instead of two separate accounts achieving the same result?
“The people who got game time with their Kickstarter Rewards will get tokens equal to the number of months of game time included with those Rewards. They'll be able to chose when to use those tokens, and the tokens will be 30 day tokens. So if you wanted to play in the 1st month you were eligible for Early Enrollment, you'd use 1 token, get 30 days of game time, and then if you did not use another token, your character would become inactive and you could not log that character into the game. If you had more tokens they would sit in your account management screen until you decided to use one more more. You will therefore control when you use the game time you have received.”
So if we bought Early Enrollment we don’t get to play for the entire Early Enrollment just the 3 months it came with? I assumed the 3 months from the EE would go toward Open Enrollment when the game launches not Early Enrollment (beta) or am I misunderstanding?

I don't remember where, but some time back Ryan stated that for EE we would have to have a Subscription to play (not including our free months). The microtransaction store won't be available until OE.
Also it is 4 free months I believe. 3 for one thing and 1 for another. Too lazy at the moment to check it out. :P

1) You will (eventually) be able to have multiple paid characters on the same account, and be able to log into any or all of them at once. Ryan is saying that if you're paying for 3 characters to earn XP there's no significant difference between that being 3 different accounts, or 1 account that costs you 3 times as much.
2) You do not get to play EE for free. You can use up your Kickstarter monthly credits to pay for some of your EE time if you wish.

As I said in that thread, this is a system that has to be iterated in functionality and it is unclear at this time how many iterations we will have before Early Enrollment begins.
Iteration 1 is: You have one character per account and that character earns XP when you pay for it.
The Variable for Iteration 1 is: Can a character who is not receiving XP be logged in?
(Answer: TBD)
Iteration 2 is: You have to pay for XP on an account basis, and you can allocate XP to any character on your account, but only one character can receive XP at a time.
Same variable for Iteration 1.
Iteration 3 is: You have to pay for XP on an account basis but you can pay to have multiple streams of XP operating in parallel, so you could have more than 1 character receiving XP at a time.
Same variable for iteration 1.
In other words, I'm 100% sure that you'll be able to have one character that is receiving XP and is able to log in when Early Enrollment begins.
I am not confident enough to offer a percentage chance on anything else at this time.
Eventually we will reach Iteration 3. Along the way, we'll figure out and test strategies for addressing the variable.

You have to pay for game time for Early Enrollment - it's not free. If you want to use the game time you got with your Kickstarter Reward in Early Enrollment, you can, or not, at your option. But you can't play without paying.

I guess a follow up question would be is Destiny Twin will that twin require a separate Sub to it?
No. When you pair 2 characters as Twins, you will only have to pay for one sub to keep them both earning XP.
Note that this pairing is permanent and immutable, so be very sure that those 2 characters are the ones you want to keep before you Wonder Twins Powers Activate.
