PFS Tiefling Alchemist

Hey All i wanted to get a bit of help creating the character im going to use as my first PFS character. he's going to be a Tiefling Alchemist, and this is what i got for him so far.

Deliox Creed -Tiefling-
Alchemist LV1
Claws and Tail Racial trait switching out the Sla and the fiendish sorcery
(Plans to take the feral mutegen discovery at 2nd lv)

Potential Stats:
stg:14
dex:12+2= 14
con:14
int:13+2= 15
wis:14
cha:10-2= 8

thats all i got so far not sure about gear or feats or traits or even if these stats will be good lol, any advice would be awsome. in the end im thinking he'll be a bruiser type of alchemist. im also currently working on his backstory lol should be fun :)

also any advice on how to get all the books i need for this character without paying up to 100s of dollars would be nice lol

In order to play as a Tiefling, you will need to have your first session before August 15. At that point PFS is retiring Assimar and Tieflings and you will need a boon to play any new character created after that date.

You can get the PDFs much more cheaply than the print books.

ahh man that really stinks, are they adding in any other races to play beside the core races at that time?

Yes, they are adding Kitsune, Wayangs, and Nagaji. Tengu are remaining as well.

well this changes things alot lol since i'll be two days late for starting pfs wich means this guy will probally only be for a home game in the future lol

Wayang make really good alchemists. They have boosts to Dex and Int, the two most important stats for a bomb-thrower, and the -2 Wis doesn't hurt as much because Will is a good save for an alchemist.

If you really want to play this guy then look for an online scenario that is PFS. This will let you lock up the race selection. I have a level 6 tiefling (4 alchemist/2 drunken barbarian) with natural attacks. I selected bite and tail as alt racial features and for traits I picked up accelerated drinker and the one that boosts will saves. For feats, at first level I picked up Improved Initiative. Right now at 6th level, when Im under influence of feral mutagen, lesser fiend totem and raging, I have claw, claw, bite and gore attacks with a +15 to attack/damage.

I also recommend picking up power attack when you can get get a furious amulet of mighty fists if you want to add barbarian to your build. I recently upgraded my amulet to +1 furious amulet of mighty fists so when I rage all my natural attacks act as +3 magic weapon which let me bypass silver/cold DR.

I would recommend either the First Step scenario or Confirmation.
