barbarian Q#1 dip or no dip?

Advice

concept is a fierce DPR and tank, who like some grapple.
invul. + urban barbarian.
aasimar race - cause i LOVE a flying machine later on.
i dont plan on beast totem - i prefer spell sunder & 1\rage things like str surge etc.

1 lvl of oracle will open, at lvl 9, the wonderfull world of rage cycling. allowing me to learn powers like str surge for amazing use.
another lvl will open more spells and free lvl 2 spell like enlarge person .

another dip into fighter will offer 2 free feats (endurance + diehard) that are needed for stalwart.

the 2-3 dip will hinder the good rage powers, a lot. but open neat stuff.
whats the best way ?
shall i take only 1 oracle ?

Aasimar are not humanoids (they're native outsiders), and cannot be targetted by Enlarge Person, so you cannot cast the spell on yourself.

Taking so many dips is probably not a good idea. Take 1 level of Oracle with the Lame Curse to get Rage Cycling. Take 1 level in Unbreakable Archetype Fighter if you are really dead set on Stalwart. Do not dip any more than that as it will just slow down your barbarian progression too much.

If you have a GM that will allow you to customize items to an extent, then buy a Cord of Stubborn Resolve (which will allow you to Rage Cycle) and simply upgrade it have high Con and Strength and Dex as desired (like a belt of Physical Perfection with another benefit). If your GM is okay with this, it's probably far better than dipping Oracle just for Rage Cycling.

Shadow Lodge

A different rout you may like is to go Viking fighter, with levels in barbarian (or the other way around) opens up a ton of flexibility in how you approach your character.

Claxon is totaly right by the RAW but it irks me to the nth degree. Because I can now cast enlarge peron on any giant or troll... but not Aasimar or Tiefliong....

Barbarian 4/Oracle 2/Rage prophet 10/Sorcerer 1/ Dragon Discple 3

Savage Seer: A rage prophet's class level stacks with barbarian levels for determining the effect of rage powers, and with oracle levels for determining the effect of oracle revelations and his oracle's curse. This does not grant additional abilities.

I think that's way more casty then he wants to be.

I think he's really just going for a Barbarian that grapples.

Rage Prophet and Sorcerer wont help that. And while Dragon Disciple could, the requirements cost too much to get into to.

Really, I think the closest next best thing would be to play as a Bloodrager. The only problem though is that you don't get Rage Powers. I do think there is a bloodline that would work well for grappling, but I'm not very familiar with everything about them so I can't recall perfectly.

No blood rager or new classes allowed .
No items at all to buy / create .
Rage prophet was in my mind, but as you don't can new rage powers , nor revelations.
Medium bab no DR increase or hp it's like a mishmash that seem not be be worth it .

Grapple is a caster shut down and plan b after axe :)
Assimar for the wings feats - it's like Michael the wrath bringer

Can't Aasimar get into monk from the NG alignment? Do that as a maneuver master for a level for wis to AC (and CMD), the first two feats of the grapple chain, and the ability to tack a grapple attempt onto the end of your full attack.

Otherwise Martial Artist. You can still pick up the bonus feats and wis to AC and don't have an alignment restriction.

Only with the racial trait Enlightened Warrior can the Agathion-Blooded Aasimar be a non-lawful neutral monk.
