Can you grapple while wearing a scizore?

Rules Questions

Shadow Lodge

I do not know the action of dropping a scizore since it takes a full round action to put it on. If any one knows the action to drop the item and can point out the rules so I can use them while traveling across the United States playing PFS, I would appreciate it.

I believe if you do not have two hands to grapple a creature the grappler takes a -4 to the attack roll.

I'm trying to do research for a Brawler character and I appreciate all the advice I have received so far, thank you everybody.

The idea is to use a d8 or greater, monk, and piercing weapon so I can either grapple, sunder or do damage with Brawler's Flurry.

I can grapple at later levels with the Hamatula feats out of the Chiliax book which require a piercing weapon.

Not using a d6 weapon is so much more exciting when I enlarge the character to size large or larger.

Of course, it has been mentioned that when the ACG comes out things are going to change. Still, I'm trying to stay ahead of the curve and do research on the subject so I can adjust with what I have learned.

I gather I can grapple with a scizore and not take any minuses.

You take the normal penalty for grappling without both hands free when attempting a grapple with a scizore.

Thanks for your know how, I'm trying to do research on the Brawler. I'd thought I'd throw this out there and see if I got a surprise answer.

Sometimes when I do this I do get an idea of something I didn't see or think of. Dead end, the weapon has nice qualities but counter productive with gripping things.

So far, beyond the greater grapple and trip feats,at the latest of eighth level, its rapid grapple, felling smash and dazing assault.

I'm trying to make the Hamatula feats in the Chiliax book work. I would replace the trip feats with the sundar, Hamatula and rapid grapple feats.

There are no close fighter group weapons that have reach. I think there is a monk weapon in the UE with reach, monk and Piercing but it is a d6. I'm trying to test for something greater than a d6.

My last gasp effort is a d8 or d10 melee weapon that has Piercing and monk qualities. My tactic is to sunder, grapple or use Brawler's Flurry.

Why a d8 or greater? It is much more fun to play with a d8 to 2d6, or d10 to 2d8 when enlarged. Than a d6 to d8 weapon when a medium character is the next size up.
