Could a lich necrocraft themself?

Homebrew and House Rules

So I'm playing a sorcerer (Learned Sorcerer archetype) necromancer who's going to focus on creating necrocrafts. Considers himself an "artist of the flesh". (Even uses "arcane mark" to sign all his creations.)

GM has approved that I can eventually use the D&D 3.5 rules for making a PC lich. But now I'm wondering if it would be possible for my char to actually necrocraft his own body into his creations, and what the results would be.

Any opinions or suggestions?

(PS. this is my first ever post on here. Apologies if I didn't put it in the right place or something...)

Ohh and btw, we're using the "Arte Mortis: A design guide for necrocrafts and necromancers" rules. Bought it especially for this character~!

I'm not familiar with these rules, but if it consists in grafting funky appendages, why not? If it's more intense than that, I would think at the very least you would need one or more assistants.

What you really need is an Igor.

"Yeth, marthter! I can replathe your thpleen with thith dithplather beatht thpleen, very eathily!"

Out of curiosity, why implant bits of yourself into your creations? If you're planning taking horcrux measures to stay alive, it might be a better idea to get your GM to approve splitting the phylactery up and hiding the individual pieces. If you want a way to spy through your minions, I recommend an isitoq--easy to hide, fits nicely into minions' eye sockets, etc.

Simple labor, lever pulling, resetting traps, violin lessons--no problem.

Just remember to never send these guys out shopping. It never ends well...

Haha, That's a good point. Well He is going to be getting a familiar through the Eldritch Heritage feat, and that familiar is going to be getting upgraded through a FleshWarper Prestiege class. So that might suffice. ^^

(The class is a homebrew conversion from D&D to Pathfinder I found online. The GM's already okayed it, assuming I can meet the prerequisites of cause.)

This has nothing to do with that. Its more about the lich crafting bodies to themselves to turn them self into a necrocraft.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. :)

Main problem would be your intelligence is subsumed by the crafting. Even with the evil intelligence craft, id probably rule that its a composite intelligence and therefore not the original Liches. Other GMs might be more lenient but youll definitely need aid and the evil intelligence upgrade.

Looking at the rules... no it doesn't work. Necrocrafting isn't a template it creates a new creature. So a Lich would be unable to necrocraft himself.

Thanks. I'll definitely have to look into that.

Good point.
