Hey guys, thanks for participating. I'll put up the Gameplay thread shortly, but first please review the updated house rules in the CAMPAIGN INFO section. If you have any questions or concerns, please post them here so we can settle it before we start. Also, please note my comments on the spoiler below and make any necessary adjustments. Otherwise, just post that you're ready.

The most important part is the TRACKING SHEET (a link to it is on the top of this page). I've already created a tab for each of you to fill up. I need it for faster tracking of character wealth long term, so please fill it in. There are formulas already included. You may look to the EXAMPLE tab as reference.

Again, you still have 24hrs to finalize your character profiles, after which I will put up the Gameplay thread. I also expect to see the quick info bar beneath your name fitted with frequently used stats by then.

Minimum Quickbar Contents:

General Reminder - 3 traits & 1 drawback is mandatory. Please update your characters accordingly.

@Maxson - In your character profile, the AC choices are with and without shield correct? The 1/day Light spell is not included in your special abilities. Also, you can't put all three ranks into Intimidate since the number of ranks per skill cannot exceed your HD.
@Prophet - Please include a drawback trait. I can't find it in your profile.
@Bobbity - 3 traits & 1 drawback is mandatory
@Morgana - I seem to recall your background opening lines in another campaign (WotW?).
@Azi - Your personality seems to deviate from the background where he sold out his fellow rebels to escape. I suppose it's part of being snake-like.

@Maxson: Anti-paladin's average starting gold is 175gp, right? Also, don't bother to modify the contents of Column E (Total Cost) in the tracking sheet. It's formulated to multiply the unit cost and qty. Updated it for you for now.

Ah, sorry, his personality is a bit difficult to convey. I guess the difference that I'm trying to define is that he didn't have plans to sell them out. He was loyal to a fault until it no longer suited his needs, and then he made that decision. Some could call that delineation semantics, but I think it's what defines a neutral character from an evil character. I hope that makes better sense and jives with you.

I happen to agree. Unless we get a map or have created our own to keep track of movement this is going to get confusing. I will still stick around but I think we can skip to the part where we meet our fellow chaotic demi-gods.

Hi Ilya, welcome to the group. I'll let you know once you've made your entrance, but for now perhaps you can put in your starting inventory details in the tracking sheet link above. You may refer to the EXAMPLE tab for reference.


My starting inventory has been logged.

For simplicity sake, I will not record the equipment worn by my undead. Since it is a part of their normal stat block, I will just assume they were wearing their equipment when they were raised, and likewise will make no attempt to claim their equipment should they be destroyed. At later levels, I may provide them with special equipment, which I will be certain to record.

Hey Ilya, how is it you have two undead already? Undead Lord only gives one companion.


All undead lords gain Command Undead as a bonus feat. Presumably my undead companion and a 'free-range' undead I enslaved were with me when I was whisked to wherever we are now. In a few levels I will need to decide between a wall of skeletons armed with spears, or a single zombie megaraptor. Choices, choices...

I don't think you should make an assumption like that seeing as you only have a chance of commanding. Sure that chance is really high but I also have a chance to steal a whole bunch of money or a magic item with sleight of hand. I am not going to assume I eventually succeed though and start out with more money than the others or a magic weapon.

How about a wall of exploding skeletons that wound the enemy as they are destroyed. I don't know if pathfinder has it but there was a feat in the corpse crafting chain in 3.5 that allowed you to make undead that exploded dealing negative energy when they died. Heal the others and wound the target. Plus there was the awesome feat combination for wizards that made elemental attacks cold and made half of that negative energy damage. Same concept, wound the enemy and heal the horde.

The Undead Companion was fine by me since I forgot to mention how it could have accompanied Ilya through time & space. But now that I re-read Command Undead, it seems to me that it only applies on an undead already animated or 'alive'. However, let's keep this one for now, especially since there is already some party banter around Secundus.

But moving forward, I'll have to go with Command Undead (feat or spell) being effective only for animated undead. Otherwise, you will need this: Animate Undead

For completion's sake, here:

Hah, I'll be honest--I asked that question before really delving into the book on the whole. Looking through the archetypes, I think I'll pick up the Steelblood, which will make Prophet an armored tank later on. For now, though, it drops her speed down to 20 feet. Ah well.

I am thinking of taking the white mage archetype, I mean being chosen to be Calistria champion would qualify having been touched power by divine power, Just doesn't seem like cure spells would be Calistria's thing.
