I am trying to figure out the stats of an animated glider. The rules seem rather hard to understand what speed do I use as the fly speed what maneuverability would it have. What stats would it have the base for a large animated object even though it would be more agile.
If my thoughts are correct then using animate object and giving something a fly speed is the cheapest way to get a fly speed constantly. Thus an animated glider could grant you the fastest fly speed for the cost of the glider plus permanency animate object for 17,000 gold.
Compare to a flying carpet at 20,000 and all it can do is fly no offensive abilities.
