EE4 is still on hold.

Goblin Squad Member

Yeah, saw something was borked there.

Apparently, settlements lost control of their core six towers, but the towers are still there.

We have 4 back and the fifth to come in a moment - can't stop the crowd to retake them 'for one night only'.

Jist to be clear for everyone - Early Enrollment 3.x is still the current version. Towers were not "added back". 4.x was not deployed.

Is this a correct description of the current status: "All of the core six towers were reset to the unclaimed state, and some settlements are now recapturing them"?

Yes

Thanks. I'll be online in a couple of hours to help re-take ours.

Lee says there should not have been any change to any Towers from yesterday unless someone captured them when their PVP window was open.

Scarab Sages Goblin Squad Member

Maybe they shouldn't have changed, but I've been told by people in game that they did. If they had been captured, they should have displayed the names of the capturing companies. Instead, they seem to have become unclaimed.

All Core Six towers were 24 Hour PvP windows when we logged in today, Ryan.

Goblin Squad Member

All of Golgotha's core 6 were reset. I have heard reports that *all* of Callambea's towers were reset.

Goblin Squad Member

Ours have as well for Keepers Pass.

Well it sounds like the developers are going to learn a few interesting things about unplanned interdependencies. :)

Alderwag has no holdings today, either. Sounds fairly universal.

May you learn interesting things in time.

Canis Castrum's citizens are reporting the same issue. I assume Goblinworks is going remove these towers sometime this weekend, right?

Goblin Squad Member

I saw word that they are hoping to deploy EE4 on Saturday.

Well it sounds like Ryan is going to learn a few interesting things about these boards. Sometimes they are actually accurate in the dissemination of information even before developers know.

Spoiler:

EL had recaptured all 6 towers by the time of the post that nothing had changed to the towers. If we are to defend out towers then we should know best if they are 'taken'.
Took just 2 min of company search to figure out it was universal.

The word is quite a few enterprising individuals have been taking adventure of the current 24 hour PvP window for a bit of banditry :D

Early Enrollment v4.1 will go live when the game returns to service at approximately 10:00am (Pacific) Saturday 21 February.

Ryan and all GW,

Just wanted to let you know, even if there is a roll back today, this patch (v4.1) really shows that you are all working hard. The game gets better and better.

We really do appreciate most of these new features and changes. You are really adding depth to the whole game here.

Well done.

CEO, Goblinworks

Very much appreciated on a crazy stressful day. :)

Grand Lodge Goblin Squad Member

Yes indeed - there was lots of good stuff and you can see the hard work - it was just unfortunate that this gets overshadowed by other issues.

At least a few people had lots of fun.

Goblin Squad Member

I liked being able to shoot arrows and see them strike at my enemies!

In the Bullwark Hills the grass blinded me in some spots on the plain, that was a surprise; I did enjoy seeing rock formations all over the place.

I look forward to a happy Zog (all hail) for EE 4.2. :)
