Toppling spell clarification

Rules Questions

Wizard with evocation school power:

Force Missile (Sp): As a standard action you can unleash a force missile that automatically strikes a foe, as magic missile. The force missile deals 1d4 points of damage plus the damage from your intense spells evocation power. This is a force effect. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Intelligence modifier.

1st: Can toppling spell be used on this?

-- Spell-like ability, "as magic missile"

2nd: Toppling adds 1 level to spell slot, this power doesn't have a spell slot ---> Toppling can be added, as is?

I'm looking for RAW here, as personally I would house rule it to take 2 uses vs 1 to add toppling.

Force missile isn't a spell thus cannot have metamagic added.

From the prd
"As a spellcaster's knowledge of magic grows, he can learn to cast spells in ways slightly different from the norm. Preparing and casting a spell in such a way is harder than normal but, thanks to metamagic feats, is at least possible. Spells modified by a metamagic feat use a spell slot higher than normal. This does not change the level of the spell, so the DC for saving throws against it does not go up. Metamagic feats do not affect spell-like abilities."

prd

Sadly this means no.

If I have magical lineage (magic missile) trait, can my 1st level sorcerer cast a toppling magic missile from a CL 1 wand of magic missiles?

magical lineage:
Magical Lineage: One of your parents was a gifted spellcaster who not only used metamagic often, but also developed many magical items and perhaps even a new spell or two—and you have inherited a fragment of this greatness. Pick one spell when you choose this trait. When you apply metamagic feats to this spell, treat its actual level as 1 lower for determining the spell's final adjusted level.

I don't think so. As far as I know you can't apply metamagic to a wand, or anything else except for spells you cast from your spell slots.

Traits/feats you have that apply when you cast spells do not apply when using the wand as the wand casts the spell, not the user.
