How does empower spell work on Magic Missile

Empower Spell on Magic Missile; Is it applied to each missile? Giving a missile a damage range of 3-7 (instead of 1-5)

Just inquiring to make sure I am understanding it properly before I recommend it to the Sorcerer.

Yes, it is applied to each missile. Each one will do (1d4+1)x1.5.
