Tomorrow my Saurian Shaman will be retiring from the Pathfinder Society, and afterwards (assuming I survive the scenario) I want to purchase the "Coastal Island" vanity from the Pathfinder Society Field Guide.
A manor in the country isn't isolated enough for you, and you have instead procured a small island a short distance off the coast of your choice. Too small and insignificant to show up on most maps, this island is nevertheless your haven of solitude, or serves as an out-of-the-way location where you can throw scandalous parties, conduct dangerous research, or simply meditate in silence without raising any eyebrows. Owning a coastal island increases the number of followers you can retain at any one time by +2.
Think of it as his own personal "Jurassic Park". I want it to be somewhere warm and humid, although it doesn't have to necessarily be anywhere near the Mwangi Expanse (known dinosaur haven already).
I own the Inner Sea World Guide and have been researching pretty much everything on the map, and nothing really calls out to me. I think the closest I've settled on thus far is somewhere in the Steaming Sea, possibly near Hermea, but if I understand the region correctly it's actually a cold climate, and the "Steaming" name only comes from the perpetual fog that envelops the islands.
I'm open to Tian-Xia, possibly, since he's a Nagaji, but I'm less familiar with that region (his backstory is that he was sold as an egg to a Chelish slaver and grew up in the Inner Sea region).
Any advice?
Somewhere near the Shackles or Mediogalti could work, as they have dinosaur-inhabited islands in canon.
One of the Islands of the Shackles is Raptor Island. It's known for its packs of vicious raptors. Do with that what you will.
