Summoner multiclassing into Oracle

Advice

Any suggestions for a Curse and Revelation for a multiclass Summoner/Oracle? I'm more worried about it being story relevant. I'm not a min/maxer, but I want to be combat relevant. I'm thinking the blindness curse then using my eidolon as my seeing eye eidolon. :p But I also want to be a melee fighter as well as a minor caster. 3rd party suggestions are fine too! Thank you!

If you want to be a melee fighter than you want to be a synthesist summoner. Otherwise, good luck hitting anything.

Mutliclassing is not the greatest ideas for casters in general. Multiclassing will delay or stop your Eidolon progression and mean you have access to two sets of low level spells rather than one set of high level spells. Both Summoners and Oracles have strong incentives to stay single-classed - progressing class features, which you will lose out on my splitting your levels.

Also, the Clouded Vision curse is just painful. It's got great flavor to it, but mechanically it's really restrictive.

Hmmm thanks. I was thinking that as a half elf for every 4 points I get another evolution point to make up for multiclassing. I've been reading a post and apparently not. I don't feel like going hard-mode so maybe I'll add some oracle flavour without actually multiclassing. Thanks!

Haunted seems to be the most popular, and easiest to explain for any given background. In your case, I'd say the spirits from your eidolon's plane aren't thrilled you keep taking their friend.

As for mystery, you'll want to go Life. Since your spell level will be split between 2 classes, you won't want to rely on spells that allow saves, so buffs and heals will be your mainstay.

As for mixing it up in melee, it's tougher to do it with a summoner component, because you won't be able to use shields or armor above light, without suffering spell failure.
