It is said that heroes who performed amazing deeds in life are rewarded in the afterlife with a place in the heavens! If that’s true then it must also be true that the most vile and loathsome creature to walk must also be rewarded for their Sins in hell! Welcome to the Death Games.
---
This would be my first time GMing so if there are rule that I miss or the encounters are too easy or hard, feel free to let me know. I am looking for 4 players. This will be a short game just to get my feet wet.

Movement and map
I am new to the whole pbp world and normal play table top with tiles and miniatures. So I wanna try this idea out and I hope it make since. I have created maps of the encounters with description on google excel and have the gridded out. I will share them out will the player’s google account. These will be used to mark our place in each encounter and movement. Since everyone will be able to edit the doc you will have to place your name in the block you’re standing in then move it to where you’re going. These doc will be for the placement of the character and obstacles within the encounters.
Shane Kimkrig |
I do customer service for a company that lets me get online, while I don't have calls. So, schedule is perfect for me. I am new to the PbP and this sounds like a good source of XP for me. I love google community stuff, and just recently found the maps! They are awesome. I hope you can show me more.
Shane Kimkrig's father was a pasture of Pharasma. Shane's mother died in his birth and he was born a still born. Pasture Kimkrig should have known better but he called on Pharasma to spare his son's life. Urgathoa heard the call and offered life to Shane at no cost. The preacher should have known better, but agreed.
As Shane grew up he had a fixation with death. His father would always stop him from playing with a dead bird, or cat, or going to the graveyard. It got so much that his father was lead into solitude and eventually died in his regret. Urgathoa touched Shane with his power and Shane began to see more in death than in life. Reviling in the powerful magic that occurred upon the death of the living. He never had friends growing up. This lead to a be-friendship with the dead. His father and him never had such a good relationship until Mr. Kimkrig was laid to "rest" in his shallow grave.
I plan on making an Undead tainted Sorcerer.
Playing around with death Shane put fear into the already frightened villagers when he was caught digging up graves and playing with their bodies using magic. Since he had no formal magical training people feared greatly where his magic came from. The villages fear grew into a riot and they gave him what he wanted: Death. Just not how he would wanted it: Burned at the post. How he hated the living.

Dotting for intrest. A nice, short little (and evil) adventure sounds neat. :)
Will this be combat heavy, or we'll have space to roleplay?
I'm probably going to submit this character, but I eould like to ask you if she's okay:first, she's a Skinwalker (non core race) and second she's a bloodrager, a ACG class. Is it okay? Also, I'm sorry if I can't paste her backstory and stats here from the previous posts, but for the next days I'm on vacation and have to post from phone. :(
In any case, this sounds cool. :D

Cynthia im sorry but this will be core only. i am unfamiliar that race and acg stuff.
ocean yes
i am hoping to do a even amount of combat and role-play. looking to start Tuesday if possible. if you wanna play. please summit a char by Monday the lates. i will pick 4-5 players then.
Back story about the game
Hell has a special place for all the worlds great sinners. a place were they can live out there afterlife doing all the vile things there heart desires. but not all sinner are giving this chance. they have to prove them self worthy of this honer. apone death you are reincarnated at the gates of hell. here all who wish to compete for a spot may do so.
this game will take place in a NPC town. this town will be your home til you win are lose. you will not be able to leave town since it is walled off completely. not all NPC here are will to accept the change to prove them self and just send the days here. not truly dead but not living ether. to prove your self you but beat hells arenas. all combat will be in the arenas. if your party loses a arena battle, it means you lost all lost a char lvl. if your party hits negative levels game over. winning a arena mean you gain a level. you can only do 1 arena battle or challenge a day in game time. your party does not have to fight every day. since there is no starting gold the only value you have is your items. you get a lil gold by winning in the arena but more from betting on other arena fights and challenges. you can not bet and fight in the same day. its one or the other. items can be found and sold also magic items will be rare.
this is a cruel town filled with scum and differences are solved in the arena. you can challenge anyone in town to a fight and they can challenge you also. losing or wining a challenge does not mean your party changes a level but the victor will gain ALL equipment the opposing party has.
any question feel free to ask.

@GMBorgeouisx: It's okay. It's your first time GMing, I understand that my build was a little too wierd. :)
A friendly advice tough: in an evil campaign like this, find a way to force the PCs to work together and not stab each other in the back. It's already a problem in "normal" campaigns, and in a evil one this problem is even more prominent.
Arian Morliedr |
I would be interested.
Arian Morliedr, a former pirate, thief, womanizer, gambler and drunkard.
Aside from that, he's not really a bad person.
*slightly expanded backstory incoming as time permits.
