Core Rulebook Combat Chapter wrote:
You can make attacks with natural weapons in combination with attacks made with a melee weapon and unarmed strikes, so long as a different limb is used for each attack. For example, you cannot make a claw attack and also use that hand to make attacks with a longsword. When you make additional attacks in this way, all of your natural attacks are treated as secondary natural attacks, using your base attack bonus minus 5 and adding only 1/2 of your Strength modifier on damage rolls. Feats such as Two-Weapon Fighting and Multiattack can reduce these penalties.

Can somebody explain exactly what that last (bolded) sentence means? I'm not seeing it in the description of this feat:

Two-Weapon Fighting (Combat)

You can fight with a weapon wielded in each of your hands. You can make one extra attack each round with the secondary weapon.

Prerequisite: Dex 15.

Benefit: Your penalties on attack rolls for fighting with two weapons are reduced. The penalty for your primary hand lessens by 2 and the one for your off hand lessens by 6. See Two-Weapon Fighting in Combat.

Normal: If you wield a second weapon in your off hand, you can get one extra attack per round with that weapon. When fighting in this way you suffer a –6 penalty with your regular attack or attacks with your primary hand and a –10 penalty to the attack with your off hand. If your off-hand weapon is light, the penalties are reduced by 2 each. An unarmed strike is always considered light.

This is for a PFS tiefling fighter with a greatsword and bite attack. I already created him with 14 dex, but I could easily up that to 15 if it turns out this feat can really help the bite attack.

Ignore the bit about twf its basically not applicable. I think its left over 3.5 stuff that was never edited.

Basically you make your weapon attack as normal then the bite at -5 and half str.

Actually, that bolded part was significant in earlier editions of Pathfinder. In my 4th printing Core Rule Book there is an extra line in that very paragraph that says all of your Weapon Attacks suffer the TWF penalties.

This was errata'd out with later printings and no longer applies.

So yeah, what Mojorat said... Ignore it...
