Venom Spur for Operative

Simple question - if an operative uses a venom spur, is it considered a melee weapon with the operative special property for trick attack purposes?

Pretty sure the answer is no, but wanted to know if there is any supporting information at this time.

That's a hard no as the aug doesn't state the attack has the Operative Trait.
