This time around the NPC takes a look at one of his favored western Magical girl shows. Parental embarrassment to follow....

EDIT: ... I... I can't hear it!
Starting at 1:32, the sound switches from my left speaker to my right and... it all comes out too soft/muffled to hear. :/
I can make out some of it by turning my volume off.
EDIT 2: then it comes back on in full-force with Circle of Life, though. O.O
EDIT 3/4: then dies at 2:28... comes back a 2:45... leaves a 3:00...
Okay, it seems that the volume on your voice-overs is the faulty one - not the sound-clips from other things.
When you're not on-screen but still speaking, it seems the volume drops like a rock.
I think your microphone might have been turned way, way, way down for your off-camera recording or something.
Unfortunately, with a sleeping toddler, I'm not going to be able to watch it tonight, with the uneven sound. Sorry, man! I'm interested, however...
The Circle of Life part might have been a bit load but while not even it seems to play fine on my computer. Hmm... Anywho let me know what you think once you get the chance to watch it. :)

I love this show as well and I also think the second season was even better then the first. I really wish they would release season 2 on dvd or both seasons on blu ray.

I know right? Too bad its been nearly ten years or big enough DVD sales could, in theory, prompt the show to come back... Not likely but in theory.
I haven't seen it, though I know Greg Weisman (Gargoyles, Spectacular Spider-Man, Young Justice) was brought in as a producer on the second season, so the reports of increase in quality wouldn't surprise me, considering how much I've enjoyed his other work. Need to check it out one of these days.
