is there a way to add blasting spells to inquisitor spell list?

One of my pc's has been playing an inqisitor ( human) and wants some blasting spells later on, is this possible? He's a follower of nethys and only level 2 atm.

If he has sufficient Charisma, Improved Eldritch Heritage (Arcane) will let you add a couple Wiz/Sorc spells to his list.

They just killed that idea with a FAQ i think.
The Samsarans have a alternate racial trait that can help you.
