So, cavalier and dipping... Do druid and cavalier levels stack for the purpose of the AC? If so, does it go both ways (druid levels are added to mount looks reasonable, but if you have a druid AC and you take cavalier levels, do you advance the druid AC?)
A 1 level dip in hunter sounds very promising for a Cavalier/Samurai even.

The levels stack only if the Animal Companion can be taken by both. If can be taken only by Druid than only the Druid levels count.

Where do you get that interpretation from? While I can see the reasoning behind it, it's not really implied by the SRD (if anything it seems to go against it).
If a character receives an animal companion from more than one source, her effective druid levels stack for the purposes of determining the statistics and abilities of the companion.
