Among the others in the bar, you see a large man with a hat and a curious accent talking with some of the other guests. Australian for your imagination

The man turns toward the bar and yells "Oi mate, more beers here!"

Tywin, I think it's hillarious that your approach to the summoner class has the edilon commanding the summoner vs the other way around. Brilliant flavor. Kudos.

this may be a stretch, but can I incorporate my understanding of the pictures on the walls, relaying understanding of their meaning and asking about the gillman's association with them... thus using a knowledge: history check in place of a diplomacy check?

I'm not trained in diplomacy and have a -1 mod to charisma. So, looking for a creative way to help here.

Just a heads-up guys but I probably won't post again until Wednesday night. I'm currently camping and the last 2 posts have been done by phone, but it's really not working. I'm having to run out into the middle of the woods to find a patch of signal and it's never in the same spot. Sorry to be a downer but I'm going to have to post when I get home.

as I read the terrain spoiler. since I made the strength check, I can move past the river during a move action. correct? If not, then feel free to move me back to the location I would have been able to move. Thank you

Yea, drinking the potion is a standard action, which would only afford you a single move. So unless your base land speed increased (and if it did, then by all means tell me. I couldn't find anything saying if it did.) you'll only move 30 ft. And since the river is difficult terrain, you're 30 ft. ends with you inside it. You'll easily get to him next round, though.

doesn't matter here, but I have accelerated drinker to make drinking a potion a move action.

If I started with my top left square just below benevolence... base move 30ft (6 squares), looks like 4 squares to move 2 down (top left square of character into water = difficult, top left square to opposite side of river = difficult), then 2 more down. Total = 6 sqares

Tactically, doesn't make any real difference between attacking minotaur would be next round either way. Just curious where my math or rule comprehension is flawed, for future reference?

Ah, that would make a difference. And as for the math...I think you moved 35 ft. That is, if I'm reading this right.
