I'm new to making constructs, and i have an alchemical golem. I want to add more damage to him as his current damage is not strong enough, how do I add spells/weapons to him? I'm looking to get multiple uses from these spells/weapons and i've used up most of my money creating the golem so my budget isn't high, but I save up for more expensive ideas.

All a bit expensive though, for your purposes.
Standard buff spells all work, just pretend the golem is a fighter and plot your boosting from there.
Technically there is nothing illegal about sticking a mithril chain shirt on it, it may not be proficient in the armor, but with zero Armor check that is irrelevant.
If you are saving up, adding a brain = adding feats (and skills, but meh) which allow the construct to do better combat stuff.
