I think this current AP will be my last. When it's done, I'll more than likely end my subscription. I don't game anymore, and don't foresee that changing anytime in years bear future, so the subscription is really just a waste of money. I've already cut back big time on the non-AP books I purchase.
All that might eventually be left is purchasing the occasional Pathfinder novel.
I might also buy the occasional mini, especially if the special big-ass minis are available for individual purchase.
I think the latest iOS software update has finally convinced me my next phone will most definitely be NOT an iPhone.
I'm not sure why, but my baby girl was running around howling like a wolf.
And, yes, stupid iPhone autocorrect - I meant "howling", not "bowling".
The boy and I both agree that we need a house with secret doors and passages.
Luckily, I've been seeing advertisements for secret bookcase doors.
Speaking of PF novels, I just realized the one by Knaak is coming out next month. Huzzah!

I hear you about the APs. Kind of regret canceling my sub, but the books were just display pieces until coming to Phoenix. Love the case incentive minis though.
Yeah, the case incentives are typically awesome, and make interesting display pieces. I also like some of the set pieces like the mummy sarcophagus and such, but since I don't really game, buying them (or a case) would just be a waste of money.

Being able to slap a gargantuan dragon down last Sunday was very satisfying.
Did it make a resounding "thump!"?
Pathfinder Adventure, Rulebook Subscriber
No, it just ate three of the four PCs.
I'd call that a resounding thump, lol
Patrick Curtin wrote: I'd call that a resounding thump, lol LOL +1
I find that many of the larger dragon sculpts are just the right size for holding PC figures in it's mouth.
:)
(I don't own but a couple, But I like staging them in my office) ;P
Indeed! A most resounding thump!
Enjoying a bottle of Karbach's 5th Anniversary Quintuple IPA. Not bad, but maybe a little too IPA-ish. Still, I'm enjoying it.
I also noticed that HBO and Cinemax were free this weekend. Sadly, there wasn't jack or shit on any of their multitude of channels I wanted to watch.
Westworld might have been interesting, but what's the point if I can't continue to watch it.
Well, it's got Anthony Hopkins and Ed Harris. How could it not be cool?
But....Game of Thrones wasn't enough to get me to order HBO either....
On the other hand....HAPPY MONDAY!
Arrived at daycare this morning to find people waiting out front, including employees. Apparently, there was some confusion about who was supposed to open this morning.
At first we sat in the car, but then the kidlets decided they wanted to go wait with everyone else by the front door. Luckily, we did not have to wait long, as the person with the key arrived just after we joined everyone.
Once inside, the boy and I helped set up the chairs and tables in the cafeteria area. I think we set everything up in record time.
Well, that was earlier than I expected. Not even 0800 and the garbage truck has already come by and picked up. It's neat - everybody has the same ginormous can, and the truck just lifts it up with a mechanical arm and dumps it right in. Only a driver is needed.
I love automation.

Dang blast it! There were sprinkles of rain this morning whilst dropping the kidlets off. And I'm fairly certain I heard a brief rainstorm a few minutes ago.
Rain! Rain! Go AWAY!
I'm not feeling the inspiration today, so no new conspiracies.
At least, not yet.
There are times (right now being one of them), when I truly miss some of the folk who used to hang in these parts. I miss the posting blitzes we used to engage in. I miss the camaraderie. There was a time when this place felt more like a community to me.
Oh well, nothing lasts forever.
Stoopid rain. Looks like no morning constitutional for me today, unless I want to get very wet.

Email from Recruiter: What kind of sales experience do you have for this sales engineer job you applied for?
Me: None. I just want to work and make money.
Poor Mike the Tiger, Sixth of his name, has passed from cancer. He was a beautiful big cat.
It's ok. The honey badge broker the elephant's fall.
Almost time for Tuesday TV Night to commence. First, the kidlets must be bathed and put to bed.

I'm so very very tired of being poor. Especially working my late-middle-aged ass off and STILL being poorer than most welfare recipients
Patrick Curtin wrote: Aberzombie wrote: Poor Mike the Tiger, Sixth of his name, has passed from cancer. He was a beautiful big cat. My condolences AZ Oh, it wasn't my cat. I'd never own one of those evil beasts. It was the LSU mascot, Mike the Tiger.
We took the boy to see him once, years ago. He slept the whole time we were there (the tiger, not the boy). The Mike facility at LSU is very nice, costing somewhere in the vicinity of several million dollars. I'm guessing it won't be long until Mike VII is in residence. I think the school works with conservation groups to get them.
Ah. Well then condolences to LSU.
I'm glad they work with conservation groups. There are actually a lot of tigers that end up in shelters because of bad owners, much like other pets. And they are even harder to place, and can't often be released into the wild because they've been raised without any hunting skills.
Mike VI was, if I recall correctly, a half-Siberian/half-Bengal tiger.
Just got finished watching The Legend of Tarzan, with Alexander Skarsgard. Pretty f!~$ing cool movie. Lots of action. Great special effects. Good story. Great acting. A worthy successor to the Tarzan movies I remember from my youth.

You want a creepy flick try The Witch. Very nice mood horror film.
I've seen The Witch. Awesome flick.
Methinks a visit to Half-Priced Books may be forthcoming. Mayhap not this week, but definitely by next week. I've got stuff to sell.
Some of it may or may not be children's books that are really f~#!ing annoying.
You might be amazed at how many of those are out there.
