Clarification on removing basic cards from deck

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

Hey guys, I've been browsing a few threads related to this and wondering if I have been removing cards correctly (once Hook Mountain Massacre is reached). The rule is to remove all cards with the 'basic trait'.

I've read that as removing any card (that would have been banished) with the 'B' label (or 'C' for the add-on deck) in the top right corner. However, I'm wondering now because it says 'trait' does this mean only cards that specifically list 'Basic' on the left of the card?

So for example, a Bugbear (from the basic deck) is a Goblin, Warrior, Elite. So would he stay in or be removed?

I'm guessing I misunderstood the rule here and just wanted to be clear.

Bugbear would stay in. Traits, as you found, are in the upper left.

Yep, thought so. Thank you for clarification! I think what threw me was that many of the elite monsters I barely need to roll to defeat so made me question if they should be removed - which led me to think it might be anything with the 'B' deck. Looking through the cards I have taken out, doesn't seem to that many I need to put back in anyway, so no biggie phew.

To be more specific, he would stay until you ran into him during Sins of the Saviours or Spires of Xin Shalast. At that point he would be removed on account of having the elite trait.

Yeah. I went back and read the actual AP card and it does mention remove 'Elites' later, which would have answered my question. Good to clear that up though. (Personally, I think removing 'B' cards was better as gets rid of lots of the low level 'rubbish' lol)
