Stephen before leading to his team designated portal will handshake with everyone
Remember that the survival of the people that are still alive in the world depend on the success on our mission. If no team can complete the task at hand No one will have a place to go and it will be the end for All those who are counting on us. We have to succeed and to return no matter what and hopefully with a haven for the people.

Seems since you've chosen to be a guild member you'd most likely be in charge of the fiddly-bits of getting us where we need to go safely (e.g. hiring a guide and such)
Totally fine if you don't want to fill that role, just providing a suggestion, feel free to write your own motivation. The addition of the wagons and staff was intended "post-cataclysm" and hammering out the acquirement of them before we started the game was ideal to prevent our game from turning into spread sheets and GP the adventure(slowing us down with paperwork when we are just starting out seemed silly.)
I don't know if having the person with a charisma so low he cannot emotionally operate or be around other people without his armor is the best person for clerical duties.
However, if I am remembering correctly, some of the command undead spells allow saving throws and can backfire. If so, it would be good to have someone who can fight them... or he could be a personal bodyguard.Sedoriku wrote:To translate that: Anyone joining a party later will probably be a native of the plane the party is exploring, so there might be slightly more exotic races involved.DM Avian Aloft wrote:Snip... race selection might be more.... interesting hehO.o
I know I just didn't want to get into long speculations about invading other intelligent creatures' planes. But thanks anyways.
Here we go!
Portal selection will be decided between the three teams still so you wont end up at the same location, as of now the choices are Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow, if there's two teams trying for the same portal I'll use the dice to decide ;)
Wohoo! I have a major love of blue but otherwise I don't care.
Wait the portal colors wouldn't be what we can see through them right? (red: firey magma, green: a place of plants, blue: water world, yellow: the deserts)Finally, It's an alias.

Woah Scary! I can't find that anywhere, is that a house rules thing?
From what I was reading in the core book it says that the spell has no other effect besides attempting to control the undead creatures?...the choices are Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow, if there's two teams trying for the same portal I'll use the dice to decide ;)
Well I was leaning towards Red
butI also have an questionably healthy love of the color blue
So Two Votes Blue!

I'm honestly on guard for the ol' Shoreborn Switcheroo

to Quote the PFSRD on Command undead:
Saving Throw Will negates; see text; Spell Resistance yesDESCRIPTION
This spell allows you a degree of control over an undead creature. If the subject is intelligent, it perceives your words and actions favorably (treat its attitude as friendly). It will not attack you while the spell lasts. You can give the subject orders, but you must win an opposed Charisma check to convince it to do anything it wouldn't ordinarily do. Retries are not allowed. An intelligent commanded undead never obeys suicidal or obviously harmful orders, but it might be convinced that something very dangerous is worth doing.A nonintelligent undead creature gets no saving throw against this spell. When you control a mindless being, you can communicate only basic commands, such as "come here," "go there," "fight," "stand still," and so on. Nonintelligent undead won't resist suicidal or obviously harmful orders.
Any act by you or your apparent allies that threatens the commanded undead (regardless of its Intelligence) breaks the spell.
Your commands are not telepathic. The undead creature must be able to hear you.
But after looking at the create spells there is no risk with them, or unintellgent undead, so no need to worry.

Heh the portal colours are not related to what is on the other side, but they've already been assigned specific worlds, Even shoreborn doesn't know whats on the other side ;)
So it looks like Team 1 favors Green
Team 2 and 3 favor red and blue with team 3 favoring blue over red and team 2 favoring red over blue?
If everyone is amicable then;
Team 1 Green Portal
Team 2: Red Portal
Team 3: Blue Portal

Luthor i have some spared coins if you need me to buy something for you
Well the funds I have are fine for what I need, which is really just a mighty 2 composite bow. Its mostly just the fact that WBL doesnt factor class based starting funds.
A question for our DM, when an error breaks, does that include the arrow head? What about something nigh indestructible like adamatine? Just wondering for arrow crafting, since I might bring a few special material arrows along and wondering about metal recycling ;).
