Is it always difficult to order from Paizo? I just joined the Pathfinder Society, and was told I must own a copy of any book I use for my character. I've spent the last 24 hours trying to order a PDF of the Pathfinder Core Rulebook, to no avail. I am blind and don't want to pay for a physical book that I would just cut apart and scan into my computer as a readable pdf using Kurzweil software I own. Any suggestions of how I can play without having to purchase a hardcopy?

You can buy the PDF instead as it is also a PFS legal source, just like the hardcopy. The link to buy the PDF is HERE; follow the text that says 'Add PDF'.

The shopping cart process is a little counter intuitive and you need to move the cart along by clicking a graphic. I have no idea how that would work for you.

The core rule book is part of the core assumption: the guy running the game should have one on hand, and you don't actually need to have one yourself. You need a copy of anything outside of the core assumption.

I had the pdf in my cart. It just wouldn't let me get past the payment information. I kept getting an error: "No valid entry with the id: 'Select this address' on this page. Evidently, the unlabeled graphic "Confirm Purchase" was the issue. It looks like I eill need to have my wifemake my purchases intil this issue is resolved. Thanks for the help everyone.

OH. Right. for some reason when you select an address, it clears your id. So you need to put in the address and THEN the id. Then advance it with the graphic.

I had a similar problem a few weeks ago. I ended up calling them and they took care of if withing 5 minutes.
