Really Marra? Are you sure you're not rigging these rolls?
Can you pm me your email address once again (i don't keep a record of these things), and tell me which boon is missing from your collection? ;-)
Adopted Weapon Training: You have spent an extended period of time training in a culture other than your own, and as a result, you have learned that population’s weapon styles to the exclusion of all others. You gain the weapon familiarity racial trait of one of the following races: dwarf, elf, gnome, halfling, or half-orc. This specialization comes at a price, and you suffer a –1 penalty on attack rolls made with manufactured weapons other than those granted by any weapon familiarity racial traits you possess. You ignore this penalty when using a weapon that benefits from any Weapon Focus feat or weapon training class feature you may have.
Ancestral Ally: Golarion’s many cultures have traditions of animal husbandry and cooperation that date back millennia, and you have embraced one of your people’s favored companion creatures. If you have the divine bond or mount class feature, instead of choosing an animal companion from the list provided in the class description, you may instead call a mount from the list below so long as you are a member of the corresponding race. If the animal companion statistics for your race’s mount are found in a source beyond the Core Assumption, the source is listed below. You must bring a copy of the listed book to all games in which you use the selected animal companion as though access to the animal companion came from the Additional Resources list.
If an asterisk follows an animal companion option listed below, the animal already appears on the list provided by your class description, and you are at least 4th-level, you may spend 5 Prestige Points to strengthen your bond with that type of animal. This increases your effective druid level as one higher when determining the animal companion’s bonus HD, natural armor bonus, Strength and Dexterity bonuses, bonus tricks, and special abilities. This boon cannot increase your effective druid level more than one level above your actual character level.
Dwarf: badger*, boar
Elf: bird*, elk (Pathfinder RPG Bestiary 3)
Gnome: badger*, giant weasel (Pathfinder RPG Bestiary 4)
Halfling: dog*, ram (Pathfinder RPG Bestiary 2)
Half-Elf: A half-elf may choose from the elf and human lists.
Half-Orc: camel*, bear; a half-orc may also choose from the human list.
Human: bird*, horse*
Custom Order: You have a special contract with an ammunition crafter, and you are able to order small batches of specialty ammunition as a result. Choose either a +1 or +2 ranged weapon enchantment. You may purchase +1 [enchantment] pieces of ammunition in sets of 10 instead of sets of 50. Once you choose the weapon enchantment, you may only change the enchantment type by spending 4 Prestige Points.

The one for 6-08, right? Fixed it, let me know if it is correct.
Castien Galondiir |
DMK - I had also made a request here and never heard back. :-)
DM Kludde |
Chronicles for YSK610 are in the usual place. I've also fixed Castien's 608 chronicle.
Eleven scenarios (twelve if you count 599) into the season. The plots are building up, and the characters are growing. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season - you guys are the best.

Can you pm me your email address?

Still waiting for Pedwiddle and Karrion to dot in for 6-12. Let me know if you need more time.
Karrion and Tiaburn: since Lithrac isn't joining us for 6-13, there's room for both of you. Do you both want to join?
DM Kludde |
Ok, Tia, noted. Take your time and let us know when bottle 99 is back in place.
Shall we run 6-13 with 5 players, or shall I try and find a sixth one?
DM Kludde |
I've submitted them to the online VO's, but they haven't been reported yet. Jesse has 120+ games to report, and I believe he's all doing that manually. Everything from 608 onward (and the Goblinblood dead, for those who were in that one) hasn't been reported yet. Not to worry: if you have the chronicle, it's official, and the games will show up eventually.

Thanks - and I second the motion...you rock! Love the year+ effort to run through all of these games as a group. I love seeing the story thread flow the different campaigns!
Best...GM...ever!
=)
Mogall Dark |
DMK, A small issues with Mogall's Chronicle. It has the 2nd level gold amount 510gp circled correctly, but under the GP earned it has 1176gp.
Mogall thinks the gnome illusionist is playing a trick on him by making his gold look like more than it is.
Also, Mogall is going to try to copy a few new 1st level spells into his spell book. cost 10gp each to write in spell book, can take 10 on spellcraft for 18 vs DC16.
spells added:
Air Bubble
Detect Secret Doors
Disguise Self
Endure Elements
Feather Fall
Floating Disk
Grease
Identify
Liberating Command
Vanish
10 spells added for 150gp total.
DM Kludde |
I'll alter the chronicle, but Tiaburn is right: you either need to encounter a wizard in your party that has the spells in his spell book, or you have to buy a copy of the scroll for each of the spells.
Mogall Dark |
I thought that you could gain access to spells very much like hired spell casting.
Magic: "In most cases, wizards charge a fee for the privilege of copying spells from their spellbooks. This fee is usually equal to half the cost to write the spell into a spellbook (see Writing a New Spell into a Spellbook). Rare and unique spells might cost significantly more."
I couldn't find any reference in the PFS guide, to spellbooks one way or another. I'll do a search in the message board. First time for me to run a wizard. If I have to buy the scrolls then it would cost ~200gp more, which he can afford.
Mogall Dark |
Found it (purchasing access to NPC's spellbooks)
Pathfinder FAQ
"Players are welcome to exchange spells with each other during an adventure. They must still follow all the normal rules as put forth in the Core Rulebook and their class descriptions (for instance, an alchemist can scribe from a wizard, but not vice-versa) and they must not bog the session down.
Similarly, scrolls found during an adventure can be used to add spells to spellbooks and similar class features (such as a witch's familiar), using the normal rules for doing so. Scrolls used in this way during an adventure do not need to be purchased, but are still consumed as normal.
With either method, the GM should sign off on the spells gained (after witnessing successful skill checks) on affected players' chronicle sheets. All other methods of gaining new spells (such as by gaining a level or purchasing access to an NPC's spellbook) function as described in the Core Rulebook and relevant class descriptions.
In the rare instance of a wizard charging a fee for the privilege of copying spells from their spellbooks, this fee is equal to half the cost to write the spell into a spellbook (see Writing a New Spell into a Spellbook). Rare and unique spells do not change the fee in PFS."
DMK let me know what your ruling is please.
DM Kludde |
I've been searching around a bit, and I'm going with the The VC of DC's ruling that supports Mogall's case.
So basically the cost is 1.5 times the scribing cost (1 for the scribing, 0.5 for the access). No need to buy scrolls.
So is it ok if I add this line to your chronicle:
"Air Bubble, Detect Secret Doors, Disguise Self, Endure Elements, Feather Fall, Floating Disk, Grease, Identify, Liberating Command, Vanish, 10 spells added for 225gp total."
DM Kludde |
@Mogall: fixed the chronicle, let me know if it's ok.
@Shifty:
1 - My best guess is that somewhere early februari the last reports for GD3 will come in, which will set off a big cycle of reporting for Jesse. From my info, it seems Jesse has entered the first 60-ish session into the paizo database, but the current session count (from what I can see) stands at 137 (!). I'm still waiting for 11 of my own sessions to be reported :)
2 - Ooww... that's one for the conscience. I know you've got the boon, but I also know you don't have it yet :-/. Would it dramatically change the character? You already have the owlbear...
DM Kludde |
I'd prefer it if you waited until the session end, I think that is the right moment to apply chronicles. You'll have a beefed up familiar for the next game...
DM Kludde |
This is the final encounter of 6-12, so please all roll for day jobs, and state the usual:
- Name
- PFS #
- Faction
- Day job
Tiaburn |
Hello, I've updated sign-up sheet with levels of upcoming scenarios (colorcoding) and shamelessly signed myself in 6-15 adventure, which is Dark Archive and based in Society basement :)
I'm bringing in Rasamoro, who was rebuild into human Kensai/Samurai (with slight motivation and communicational issues)
DM Kludde |
I'll be reporting the game now, which will be my 100th GM credit. :)
