Hmm, arcane artefacts and GL storyline, seems appropriate for Cacumattus, unless Tiaburn wants the spot in this one?

VC - Sydney, Australia

Rain and Pitbull it seems!

Scarlet is still busy :(

@Karrion, go on, I'll sit out for a moment, pay more attention to own games. I'll take next one

DMK - could I get an updated 7-09 Chronicle for Boram that includes his Day Job roll (result was 45)?

Thanks!

For my recent birthday I purchased Hero Lab and have just finished importing all of my characters...found several errors I made just using pencil and paper! Grimaldus is one of my biggest mistakes - I thought a negative level actually put you back a level. Bu apparently not - it just gives you several penalties. So, I was able to credit all of the level 7 pre-gen games Hagnar has played to Grim.

He is now 9th level, with some new hardware thanks to the techno-priests back in his order's headquarters! Woot woot!!

I haven't really seen Grimaldus in 7-13. The fact that he's level 9.... complicates things (I may have to inflate some enemies, as you're switching tiers). Do you still want to join?

Also, Lithrac (Anail, Ouroboros, Jalthas) is out, so can I have actions for him in the combats we're having right now?

I'm back for one day, but leaving tomorrow again until Sunday. I'll try to catch up with all the scenarios today, and will be back next week at full capacity!

Rhanloi is playing 7-13. Grim was sitting out because I didn't realize he could have played in 7-11 instead of Hagnar. I just wanted to let you know that I had made a mistake, found and corrected it, so when Grim shows up at 9th level it wouldn't be too big of a surprise =)

I've put up a gameplay thread for 7-15 (and 7-17 as well, which is just me working ahead). It's a tier 3-7 game, so let me know who is going to play it.

Male Half-Elven Wizard-5 | AC 13 (17 w/mage armor) T 13 FF 10 | HP 24/29 | F +3 R +5 W +6 | CMB+1 CMD=14 l Init +9 | Perc +6 l Status: Normal

I seem to be in a bind for 7-15. Rhanloi (lvl 6) is still in 7-13. Adrianna (lvl 4) is in the Faithless and Forgotten trilogy. Henri (lvl 3) is smack in the middle of Geb and 7-12. That leaves me with no characters in range.

I suppose I can run a 4th level pre-gen...let me know what we need and I'll generate the character...

Perhaps it is an option to run 7-17 first, instead of 7-15?

VC - Sydney, Australia

I'm flex.

Scarlet just did Bonekeep 3 on the weekend, so I have her back too. What a horror story that place is!

I only have Bones (lev 5) available currently, for 7-17 & 7-15 level wise he fits in the 7-15 group.

I was hopping to use Marra (lev 7) in 7-17, but she is currently in 7-13 which is still in progress.

Hmm. I'd like to start at least one of these games now, to avoid running into time squeezes. Since neither seems to work for the full 100%, let's stick to the original schedule and start with 7-15.

I'll put the first post up, so hurry if you want to be a part of it!

As the early dawn’s light crests over the Wall of Heaven mountain range, the Lantern Lodge is already bustling with activity. The sound of clashing swords echoes in the air from a nearby training area, and a group of Pathfinder agents silently meditates in the front courtyard. The lodge’s doors open, revealing a long corridor and a faint floral aroma wafts gently in the air. Sturdy shelves laden with artifacts from all corners of Tian Xia line the corridor’s walls. Venture-Captain Amara Li emerges from a door labeled “Taldor Room” in a fine cherry-red kimono.

“Good morning, Pathfinders. I hope your travels have been safe and enjoyable,” Li says. “Please, come inside.” The Taldor Room is an opulent meeting space with a solid mahogany table and ornately carved chairs. Its walls are adorned with ornamental weapons and portraits of noble families in resplendent finery. Elegant porcelain tea cups and plates sit in front of each chair, and several platters of fruit, cakes, and cheeses occupy the center of the table, surrounding a steaming pot of tea.

The venture-captain pours herself a cup of tea and continues, “As I’m sure you are aware, the Grand Lodge was attacked a few months ago. Since then, the Society has been following any and all leads that could help us find and arrest the Aspis criminals behind the assault. From Varisia to Nirmathas to Absalom itself, the Society has successfully gathered a substantial amount of information about Aspis operations. We have combined our own resources with the reports of a turncoat within the Consortium whom we have taken to calling ‘Three Rings’ to create a list of vital Aspis operatives all across Golarion. One in particular, Tseka, lives beneath Goka, in a warren of tunnels and ruins called Undermarket. Specifically, she lives in its deepest levels, known as Deepmarket. Tseka works from the shadows, and makes most of her profits from black market trades.

[b]“Deepmarket is a dark and dangerous community of criminals, thieves, and outcasts. Those who don’t know the area or have connections to protect them make easy targets. I recommend using a little subterfuge to help yourselves blend in, and to give Tseka as little time to prepare for your approach as possible.” The venture-captain places a small wooden chest on the table and says, “To get inside Deepmarket, I propose that you pose as smugglers bringing in a fresh round of contraband. Once there, find Tseka. We know that she has valuable information, so do everything in your power to bring her back alive, and collect whatever documents you find in her base of operations. I do not know where within Deepmarket she resides. Gather what information you can from the locals in Undermarket, and seek out a guide to help you navigate these treacherous waters. Do you have any questions?”

DC 10 Diplomacy/K(local):

10+: Almost anything can be found in the black markets of Undermarket under Goka, including drugs, poisons, gambling, slaves, and even rearms.

DC15:

Rumors hold that one of the many entrances into Undermarket resides inside a silk shop named the Cresting Blossom. Ordinary customers use currency to purchase wares; however, those who provide contraband to the proprietor gain access to a secret tunnel leading far beneath the city.

DC 20:
Whispers from the ratfolk of Undermarket tell of the Aspis Consortium’s renewed recruitment efforts in the last few months.

DC 10 K(dung)/K(geo):

Undermarket is comprised of large caverns. A canal flows through it, allowing contraband shipments to ow in from the Embaral Ocean.

DC 15:
Deeper into Undermarket, lost crypts, burial chambers, and ancient churches liter the ominous caverns. Even locations that seem to be abandoned are frequently repurposed.

DC 20:
Rumors hold that an entrance into the Darklands resides in Deepmarket, hidden among the dozens of tunnels that wind down for miles into the darkness.

Amara Li supplies the party with a disguise kit and two scrolls of disguise self, as well as a chest full of contraband. The chest contains a total of 7 pieces of contraband—a dose of blue whinnis poison, a pistol from Alkenstar, a piece of bawdy artwork depicting a Gokan celebrity, jade unholy symbols of Fumeiyoshi, Lady Nanbyo, and Lamashtu, and an engraved darkwood box containing half a dozen oracular fingerbones smuggled out of Po Li.

With #7-11 under her belt, Elindriel is now level 10.0. I'm not sure what the best path is for her to take now; any thoughts?

Also, DMK - Boram still needs his updated 7-09 Chronicle with the Day Job roll results.

Mogall in 7-14 Faithless And Forgotten Trilogy, has been leveled up to 5th level wizard.
He purchased a staff of minor arcane 8,000gp (been saving up for), and added two additional 3rd spells above the free one to his spellbook.
haste & fireball each 90gp inscribe cost + 45gp access fee. Take 10 on spellcraft for 22 vs DC 18.

Sorry for the slow posting rate. It's the usual excuse: work is trying to kill me.

I'll also be on a holiday May 5-10, so I'll probably use that time to recover :)

Fully support your idea to have some time for yourself. Get rested and return soon.

I will be travelling to Crete, Greece this summer (June, 11 - 19) and to Helsinki, Finland, may be St.Petersburg, Russia July 28th - August 8th. Just a prior notice.

Chronicles for 7-13!

Grand Lodge

Halfling Bard 9 | AC 24 T 18 FF 18 | HP 75 | F +7 R +13 W +8* | CMD 22 | Init + 5 | Perception +14

cool boon on the chronicle, note those who have a character with chronicle 6-07 Valley of the veiled flame may qualify for the half price option, there may be other chronicles which qualify too.

BTW, Marra has been updated, new boots of striding and springing and scabbard of vigor. Also, she is now dotted in 7-17.

VC - Sydney, Australia

Oooh funky boon!

I love those boons! By the way, am I understanding correctly that we can also use it to create a level 1 oread character even though we applied this chronicle sheet to a regular, in-tier character? Or does the level 1 oread only work if you apply the CS to a newly-created character?

*****

On another note, I have a few (good or less good) news to tell you. The good one is that I'm going to be a father for the second time this summer (mid-July)! Mrs.Lithrac and I are very excited about this of course, but it also means I'll have even less time to post.

Another thing is that our local convention (where I met DMK in person last year!) will propose lots of the recent scenarios (last year it was mainly #6-19 and onwards). I intend to attend the con and would prefer to be less frustrated that I was last year because I had already played (or was about to play) most of the scenarios on schedule.

Hence, I'm sorry to announce that I will bow out of this season's playing after current games (after #7-17 and the end of the Faithless and Forgotten trilogy, if DMK agrees to have me for those). I don't know yet about what happens after the summer though, I'll have to see how it goes with two children. I hope you'll understand.

DMK:
I PMed you about this, but got no answer. Did you get the PM?

VC - Sydney, Australia

So you can:

Change your character that has the sheet to an Oread on the spot for 20 PP
Start a new L1 Oread, and the character with the sheet pays 10pp

-If you have the other boon, you only pay half price for either of those options.

I understand the problems with the Cons, I con't play in the upcoming one for the same reason - but without doing it this way I'd only be seeing a fraction of the season and would be demanding a lot more play time in our local games :)

Male Half-Elven Wizard-5 | AC 13 (17 w/mage armor) T 13 FF 10 | HP 24/29 | F +3 R +5 W +6 | CMB+1 CMD=14 l Init +9 | Perc +6 l Status: Normal

Congrats, Lithrac! I, fortunately, am on the other end of that spectrum =) All of my kids are in college or beyond. In fact, I drove ~11 hours yesterday (there and back total) to see my oldest return from her first deployment aboard a US Navy warship! As a retired Navy Surface Warfare Office, it brought back fond memories of my ship tours =)

VC - Sydney, Australia

I have some suspicions my darling daughter will not be following me into any sort of service. AS it is she lives with her very own Major Payne - even though I'm only hitting CAPT this year.

| AbadarCorp Entertainment Official GM | How is my flying? | DICEBOT LOVES YOU |Starship combat cheat sheet | STEAL THIS TEMPLATE | Traveling until Jan 3, reduced posting frequency expected

@Lithrac: I just responded to you in person (sorry about not doing that earlier). Of course, it's no problem if you want to sit out any (or all) games. I'll try to accommodate.

I guess we all have changing lives, and in my case, my recent (well, last year's) job change has put my schedule under pressure. I should seriously reduce the number of tables I'm running in parallel, so I'll be holding off on starting 7-17 until some more games have finished.

I'll try to finish a complete Season 7 run, but I'd like to give you a head's up that a full Season 8 run seems unlikely: I'd rather pick the good and/or storyline scenarios and be able to put a bit more focus in.

Shifty wrote:

Five-star CAPT, no less.

VC - Sydney, Australia

LOL It's a race - my third pip vs my fifth star.

VC - Sydney, Australia

I can also get that there is no guarantee of an S8 run through - frankly I was delighted with S6 and was surprised we were getting a crack at 7!

Sad though, as it has been so good and we have a great 'loose party' where by and large we know each other and the characters, but S7 is almost over, and sometimes it goes that way.

I've cut back my tables for a while too - pretty much on the same rationale, too much work of late and find it hard to juggle and do justice to, but I will get back into it. We be Goblins 4 is on the horizon and that will kickstart my enthusiasm, and Serpents Ire is just calling to me.

Locally I'm gearing up to run the multi-table specials, and also run them via PbP, so its more projects than normal GMing. Getting from 4th to 5th star has sort of started burning my willingness and love though :p
