Sothy Samnang |
Sothy changed his fancy-colored bandana for great-looking tricorne hat with a magical plume. He had lots of sparring fights with Chukka during free time so his swashbuckling parry become more effective. Meanwhile, he trained how can he prevent casters from casting. The only thing that was disrupting him in this studies was his explosive nature.
Sothy becomes alc2/bloodrager 1 (spelleater) arcane, takes Extra Panache feat and buys 2 potions of Bull Strength and 2 potion of magic fang.
Due to his arcane bloodline concentration DC in his reach is +2 DC now.

If any of you are interested: I'll be running Bonekeep (level I) as an online game on sunday (2pm edt), as part of APcon (Bonekeep as a PbP is not allowed).

I think it's about the right time to start rolling day jobs for 6-20.
Before we can start the last two games, it looks like we need to finish 6-21 first...

Wondering if I might just roll on with the Svetlana/{itbull combo for the finish - leave dear old Percy at home...
Ustalav is dark and nasty, seems like a good place for a Hellknight - though Percy is 'faction appropriate'.

Only two more scenarios to go though :(
Three :-)
I'll be running 6-97, 6-98 and 7-00 at a local con in August (and playing 6-99, for want of a star), which means I can also run 6-98/Serpent's Rise on August 3 (the day after Gen Con). I'll gladly run it for you, though if you get the chance to run it at your local con (or at Gen Con), I would advice that instead.

I'd like to jump in and sign for 6-98 PbP. Or will it be VTT?
DM Kludde |
6-98 is cleared for PbP, it seems. I've added a sign-up list to the Year-of-the-sky-key spreadsheet, so just add your name if you're interested.

I'm looking forward to play these scenarios at the GardenCon (not sure if we'll be at the same table or not, but I'd love that!), so I'll pass on playing the specials online and will focus on the regular scenarios for the end of this season, as well as those for season 7.
Karrion |
They decided to run if for us 350km away from Sydney at our next closest (tiny) city for no apparent reason.
Hey, speaking as someone who grew up in that city... yeah no I don't know why either. Maybe to annoy both you Sydneysiders and us Melbournians equally? (Which is why they put the parliament there, after all ;-p)
I'm considering trying to get to the multitable specials there, but I'm not likely to manage to get there for 6-98, so I'll throw my hat in for it in PbP.
DM Kludde |
I've set up threads for 6-22 and 6-23. Looks like we can actually start 6-23 already, so just go there and dot in!

Looks like we're exclusively on opposite ends of the GM screen, unless you want to switch tables for 6-99 (my French prevents me from doing the opposite). I'm really excited about GardenCon...
Shifty |
Hey, speaking as someone who grew up in that city...
In fairness I used to go there a lot with work (not so much the last 12 months) and it is a lovely place to visit.
I'd have just thought you'd stick to running specials in an area with the player base to support it - why a Paizocon there... no idea.
DM Kludde |
Almost there for 6-23, just waiting for Ceobryrn.
----
Also, I've put up entries for Season 7 games in the YSK list. If you guys are game for continuing, I can keep offering these scenarios (I'd suggest some catching up at some point - we've been doing fine with two tables lately, but we are lagging a bit after my holiday)
Alternatively, I could run something else to your liking. Two things that come to mind are the Plunder and Peril module and the Iron Gods AP (which is sadly not PFS sanctioned, though we got Serpents Rise in return, which I think is a fair deal).

In case you all missed it: I've put up the first gameplay post for 6-23.

1) Could you please postpone starting 6-22 till Monday? I'm playing Rasamoro at Local GameDay on Saturday and if he survives storming the diamond gate, he'll be open for continuing the story. If not - I'll jump in with Ariward the Shelyn Paladin4
2) Plunder & Peril sounds interesting, but the only character in the Tier 3-5 I have is Ariward the Paladin and I don't thing he is good option for joining pirate party. I cannot GM 3 scenarios in a week to jump in with another character. Probably, this one is postponed for better time.3) Irod Gods AP doesn't ring a bell, but I had good feedback from a friend, who plays and friend, who GMs that. First part is quite vague and provides plenty of opportunities for GM to plug-in his own ideas and spin the storyline as GM wants. If there will be an active group, I'd like to join.
4) Something else... Last year I was GMing Murder's Mark, which is great module for investigative & social characters with elements of fights and detective story. It's Tier 1-2 replayable and I have dancing bard character that I'd like to participate that story.
DM Kludde |
Starting 6-22 actually relies on Pitbull being free, so 6-21 must be finished first. We're nearing the end, but Grimaldus being in the state he is in high now may perhaps delay the wrap-up a bit.
Grimaldus |
Sorry - went on a business trip this week. Wayfinder on my phone wouldn't let me post, and the hotel computer had old browser software so I couldn't log in to Paizo... =/ Back home now and catching up!
DM Kludde |
Let's roll day jobs for 6-21, which is almost finished (still some investigating to do!).
Also, raising Grimaldus will cost 10910 for a resurrection spell. It's possible to pool money for that (pooling PP is not possible). Cash reward for tier 5-6 for this scenario is 2579. So, expensive but not insurmountable.
Are you guys all very busy/on holiday at this moment? I've notice posting almost coming to a complete standstill (four days and one post in 6-23). It's not terribly surprising, given the season. Perhaps we can plan a break?

Player: Tiaburn
Character: Maeglin Seregos
PFS#: 34327-3
Faction: Silver Crusade
Day Job: Perform (dance): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18 15gp right?
I'd like to sacrifice 500 gp (up to 1300 if you need them) for your resurrection.
Shifty |
Pitbull will chip in 1818gp, 1/6th of the rez cost.
It was worth it for the money shot on Zomgrimbaru.
On a side note, my PBP's I am GMing have equally been slow as grass growing.
And yes I am away with work at the moment, but we got a window of 'check in with home' time. Rank has benefits.

PFS# 11016-3

day job Perform (oratory) storytelling: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26 (audiences love a story with a heroic death.) 50gp?
Marra offers to pay 1/6th of the cost as well.
Also, wish to retrain a spell 1st level vanish for saving finally. Cost 2 days, 4PP, 6x10x2=120gp
Tiaburn |
I'm involved in local AnimeCon organization (Pathfinder Society section of it). As well, several of colleagues are away for vacation, so less time to spare in work hours. But, Summer season is more than half past, so I think we can just move forward slow speed, until everyone's back.
Regarding Grimbaru ressurection: I don't mind spending more than 1300, but I thought, that we are allowed only to pull our resources until scenario is resolved. If I got that wrong and we can take money we receive in our chronicle, than I'm ready to pay 1/6th for him to return.
Aetherys Dawnblade |
I'm game for season 7. I think I have my hands full as far as APs go (and already playing Iron Gods, which is fantastic by the way!) for now, however.
6-21 (Aetherys will also contribute to the raise dead costs like the others, of course!)

I think Grim still gets a sheet, so here is his info:
Grimaldus
PFS#: 83583-2
Liberty's Edge
Day Job (Craft weapons): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
==============================
Resurrection calculations!
Gear:
Treasure: 2,538 gp
Scenario: 2,579 gp
+1 Shocking Adamantine Greatsword: 8,300 / 2 = 4,150
Masterwork darkwood composite shortbow (+4 str bonus): 695 / 2 = 347.5
Cloak of resistance +1: 1,000 / 2 = 500
+1 Half Plate Armor: 1,600 / 2 = 800
--------------------------------------------------
TOTAL: 10,914.5 gp
So Grim has enough to get resurrected! He will still have a heavy flail he can use for combat. Any donations to offset these costs will help Grim have armor and maybe a shortbow!
Marra follower of Dawnflower |
I would strongly suggest you don't sell any items if you can avoid it, it would weaken Grimaldus effectiveness. Having to sell equipment at half price only to buy it back later is a double whammy. Use the contributions and pay it forward later.
(Also, +1 Shocking Adamantine Greatsword: list price is 10050gp
and +1 Half Plate Armor: is 1750gp )

At this point I should mention that I took a bike-mounted charge of a roundabout yesterday, when somebody cast a grease spell. I took 1d6 ⇒ 2 points of damage from the fall (the bike was fine - hardness). I spent a full day at the local healing complex, where I got some first aid and a remove disease, for suspicion of filth fever. It also left me with some kind of 'slow' curse on my elbow, which makes typing somewhat harder.
DM Kludde |
The chronicles are up - all under the assumption that Grimaldus gets resurrected. You can find them in the chronicle archive (link)
Grimaldus |
Thanks, DMK - love your description, too! Please see Grim's cost share proposal in the game link - it's less than all of you were prepared to offer, and I don't have to sell anything! You guys (and gals) are the best!!
