If undefeated, the damage from the Leng Spider is dealt to a random character. Move to that character's location.
The encountering character moves to the location of the character that takes the damage. Which could be themself since it doesn't say "other" character, just character.

Okay, thinking on it again I agree. I don't think there's another precedent where the monster moves (other than villain and giant gecko) and those are shuffled into another deck, doesn't say to move them to another deck.
Although if the spider is the one to move, that scenario would become much more complicated with the forced to clear an entire deck if the spider moves somewhere else.
Thanks for the advice, the card may need rewording to clarify though. Just a thought.

Also, Banes ( and Boons) don't go at location's, they go into location decks. If it were the spider to move, then it would end up on the location card, and all sorts of madness would ensue...
