So, I just recently played in my first PFS the other day. I was unaware at the time that I had already made a PFS character so I made a new one, an Oread Summoner. I really like the character and want to continue playing as him, but if I'm reading the rules correctly I need a "boon" to do so and the only place I can get one is at a con like Gencon, which I wont be able to attend. I really like this character I made and would like to continue on with him. is there anyway at all to get a boon to play as an Oread or am I SOL and just have to remake the character.

Oread is not a legal race for PFS play. The special boons you are talking about are available at cons and it is a chance to win one. As far as I know there is no racial boon for Oread. To be honest the Gm should not have even let you play at the table with that race and yes you will have to remake the character within the legal limits of PFS rules.

according to the additional resources sheet:
Oreads: all alternate racial traits, favored class options, racial archetypes, racial equipment, feats, magic items, and spells are legal for play.
thats why he allowed it, we didn't see till today when i was going to register the character that I needed a boon

Ok then I stand corrected. Did you mean they are the ones that came out with Undine and Fetchlings? ifrit are no longer available as far as I know.
One of the folks I was in the Grand Convocation with in Seattle got an Ifrit, so they must still be available to some extent. Or they were available earlier this month at any rate.

I have an Oread monk-of-the-sacred-mountain, and I love playing him.
I also have a spare Oread boon. Drop me a private message.
And, incidentally, welcome to Pathfinder Society. I hope Petrus can meet your summoner some day and adventure together.
Very cool of you!

They were still available at PaizoCon this year, but I believe that may have been one of the final appearances those boons will make.

I agree!
That said, I have generally found PFS players to be a pretty good bunch and very generous in sharing the love. I have had previous dealing with other franchises of society based play and used to find those as bieng fairly selfish affairs.
Just not so with PFS!
