Gnome Surgeon (Alchemist / Wizard)

Advice

I'm going to be playing a Gnome Surgeon. I'm taking the vivisectionist archetype for Alchemist and I was thinking I was going to use the Life focused school for the wizard.

I need some more ideas and some more help with the build. I want to use a surgical tool as a weapon. I found some things for a saw so I thought maybe i could use it as an improvised weapon maybe take proficiency with it as an exotic weapon but I am open to other suggestions on that.

As well i am looking for 2 other elements.

1) any thing that will tie the two classes closer together to give my character a little more usefulness

2) Anything to give him more flare as a surgeon. I found the surgeons tools but i would love anything else that I can use to really hammer in his profession.

You need max ranks in Heal, of course.

Honestly, I'm not sure you need Wizard levels at all. Alchemist alone has all the flavor of a medicine man. What does Wizard give you that you need?

I'd suggest checking out YouTube videos of Dr. Steinman from BioShock, to give you an idea of some doctor-like mannerisms and quotes you could use even when you're in combat. GRanted, Steinman was insane, but he's also one of the best recent examples I can think of a "surgeon" in a game that involves combat.
