Alchemist & point blank shot?

I see in the errata that point blank bonus to attack & damage apply, in regards to the damage I realize it applies to the initial target of the bomb, but what about the splash damage that is within 30ft does it benefit from the +1 to damage as well?

The GMs I've run under with my PFS Alchemist have always ruled that Point Blank Shot is not added to the splash damage as you are not 'hitting' them with your bomb (those in the splash radius).

And I have no issues with their reasoning as I do feel it makes sense.

Ok, that is exactly what I was thinking, but as this class is new & I am just trying it now, I wanted a second opinion. Thanks!

You will get it for Bomb damage. You can make an argument for other splash weapons.

Bomb splash damage is explicitly minimum bomb damage. That +1 is part of minimum damage. The implication for other splash weapons is it is also minimum damage because 1 is the minimum of 1d6.
