Is there an intelligence based item like the circlet of persuasion?

Looking for ways to increase my chance to beat SR with a Magus that's taken 2 levels in WHW.

You could take extra traits to pick up Magical Knack to make up the two CLs you lost for multiclassing. There is also the Magician Bard's dweomercraft performance that raises CL checks.

A metamgic rod of Piercing Spell is probably most useful.

You are not supposed to beat SR. Its purpose is to make you cry.

Although expensive, Dweomer's essence is a one-use wondrous item that gives you a +5 to penetrate SR. It can be found in the PFS field guide.

The Sure Casting spell increases your caster level by 5 for overcoming SR on the next spell you cast, is on the Witch list, is a 1st level spell and there is no stipulation I can see by RAW that you couldn't apply the +5 CL to a Magus spell provided it is the next spell you cast. Plus, it stacks with Dweomer's Essence.

So you would cast Sure Casting, and then use the Dweomer's Essence as a component on the spell you want to cast next round for a +10 CL vs SR. This would stack with any other means of overcoming SR.
