Looking for a company that will show the world how to build Chaos with a smile. Try Tavernhold, our four distinct companies are looking to recruit you. Are you an ale swilling ballad blaster with a passion for violence against those that commit the most heinous party fouls, try the Golden Flask. Are you plagued by visions after a nights sleep that leave you excited for a new day, maybe the Dream Seekers. Are you an inventor who moves from one invention to the next to help better the world, the Smiths of Tavernhold have a place for you. Are you an adventurer determined to rescue that pure soul from the evil dragon's clutches even though you haven't broken Lv 3 yet, Fool's Company is the place for you. Do you have a group with your own far flung ideas of what it means to be a good character with a constant smirk on your face, let us know. In summation try Tavernhold.

May Your cup never run dry.

Will Tavernhold be adjusting their marketing strategy at all to fit with their new spot? Do you still feel you have as much to offer the traveling PVEer who stops for the weekend, or will you be importing extra monsters or PvP threats to make up for the decreased wildlife activity in your new location?

Goblin Squad Member

What decreased wildlife? If anything we have more. A Monster Hex and a Monster Home Hex border us and another Monster Home Hex 1 hex away. Not to mention the abundant Badlands.

That's the spirit! Six monster hexes is definitely more exciting than Seven.

Ah, but one of the "six" is a monster hex that only they can access easily. I personally preferred their old location (now we have to go further to get our ale!), but the new one may end up suiting them better. We'll have to wait and see, eh? :)

Goblin Squad Member

I suppose its how you look at it. Do you want more generators or more areas of easy conductivity for monsters. Plus when they expand the map north and west we will be on the frontier.

Goblin Squad Member

Really, I was just bumping the thread and needed something to say.

Goblin Squad Member

It's all good. We do morn the loss of our easy access to starmetal but new placement yields new opportunity. C is our second choice and not lower for good reason.

And I dream
Of the C
There's no R-pture for me

This would work better if you guys wanted R. Sadly, we all know Kabal is after that place! ;D

Goblin Squad Member

Good Song KC. It appeals to the Dream seeker in me. for the rest...

Be merry my hearts, and call for your quarts,
and let no liquor be lacking,
We have gold in store, we purpose to roare,
untill we set care a packing.
Then Hostis make haste, and let no time waste,
let every man have his due,
To save shooes and trouble, bring in the pots double
for he that made one, made two.

I've been listening to a lot of Miracle of Sound lately. He has some nice pieces.

No you wont.

Okay, Kabal, I'm not drinking your stuff unless you stop sneaking Kyuss worms into the tankards, you hear me? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, I'm mad. Fool me three times, okay, you're officially that guy. Fool me four times, though, shame on me.

Goblin Squad Member

... We put them in there right in front of you. Besides the alcohol kills them, and its how we get that extra flavor and kick!

Goblin Squad Member

Don't work KC, we will make the quality pay for the trip. Plus you wont have to worry about having to order some fanciful elven wine.

Goblin Squad Member

Four fools don't go as far as they used to.

How about four elf ears? Will those be enough?

*Sharpens cleaver*

'Cause I can get some of those.

EDIT: I don't know why I read "go as far as they used to" as a currency thing.

Goblin Squad Member

"Now now," setting a grill seared steak in front of KC, "here is a good use for that cleaver."

We are closest to Numeria. That warning has merit.

Good, bad...

Classic.

I support this!

.@Malrunwa you should have posted that in the week 10 landrush thread when it got heated I would have died laughing.

Goblin Squad Member

I actually posted it because one of the other settlement treads said "good is dumb"(Spaceballs), I think Hope's End. But if things keep going the way they are I probably will.

Goblin Squad Member

Did I mention BEER? :D

Tavernhold, the chaotic settlement whose primary rule is: Don't be a dick.

Only because my "KILL EVERYONE" proposition died in committee.

Because the committee took it, chased me out of their town, and then commenced some sort of weird effigy burning where they folded the proposition into an origami lizard or something.

The sad part is, I'm old enough to remember using those books in school. :)

My daughters have Dick and Jane and Vampires.

Goblin Squad Member

So Sally was turned, eh?

Goblin Squad Member

lol, I've seen it done to classic novels but not children's books till now.

Heh. "Dick and Wheaton" seems like it could be a lovely children's book.

Let me be the first* person to welcome Kobold Cleaver—or, as some affectionately know him, "Patient Zero"—to Tavernhold!

*And only. >:D

Does this mean we are now home to loin cloth Wednesdays? O_o

Now the Golden Flask will know to stock extra firewood in the tavern around the middle of the week. Loincloths can be chilly.

I think this may also be KC's fault.

I'm just saying.

I heard the story, and believe it's true. Have you seen KC's alternate image that shows up when he includes that word?

Is everybody listening to me? Good.

Help!
Sorry, that is incorrect. What I meant to say was,
'Pardon me, sir, but I am in desperate need of aid.'
You see, I could be described as a very strange D&D player.
For one thing, I HATE Eberron.
I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it.
'Why?' you may ask?
I. HATE. it.
Ok, clearly I'm not making any impression. You see, I HATE--I mean, I dislike the whole 'Magic is Technology' feel. See, I used to like Dragonlance. But alas, I soon realized that there were only 2 reasons for that.
Raistlin. And kender.
I LOVE kender. And Raistlin is totally cool. Of course it's obvious to you that it was really the WONDERFUL novels.
And two reasons aloneth arteth noteth enougheth.
So now I need to find a good campaign setting. (NO steampunk. Thus, no Spelljammer or Planescape)
