Part of the fun is coming up with a background to match our class rolls. I am going to play an Asimar who went to the nearest temple to learn from the monks how to maintain control of my body and mind after my sorcerer powers decided to tragically reveal themselves.(I feel like that always happens to sorceres..."Yeah, I accidentally blew up my town, thats how I found out I could throw fireballs")While I was learning from the monks how to control myself, I found religion through the clerics of Nethys that shared the temple with the monks. It will be more complicated than that, but I just have the basic story worked out so far. Probably gonna end up playing as lawful neutral.
Oh, I understand that, but the same process can be done for 'coming up with' the professions based on the background, and rolling for background has many more varied results than rolling for class - plus it makes more sense that you can't control your background, but can control your choices it influences (class).

If your going cleric, with the sensei monk, and enjoy the bad touch you could also pick up the sorcerer bloodline that increases touch attack range.
If your going with theurge not a ton of advice for ya outside of the general. Take as little sorc and monk levels as you can, for the spell level/monk stuff you want.
Any DC you'll have won't be that great. So do you want to try offensive stuff, a buffer, or something else?

I played a similar character once, it was monk(master of many styles) 1/inquisitor (infiltrator archetype, conversion inquisition) 1/ sorcerer (crossblooded empyreal/rakshasa) rest. It made for the perfect infiltrator/diplomancer. Styles were monkey and snake, to get more stuff to wisdom, and that religious trait of Irori to add another skill to wisdom.
Have fun taking stuff from him !

For starters, armor. You might pick the heaviest armor you can wear that will allow you a 0% Arcane Spell Failure rate. Darkleaf Cloth Studded or Wooden Armor or take Arcane Armor Training and Wear Mitril Kikko or Darkleaf Cloth Lamellar Leather.
Take a Monk Archetype that doesn't get Flurry, anyway, like Maneuver Master or Master of Many Styles. MoMS + Arcane Armor Training might be a problem because both require Swift Actions
I like the Boreal and Stormborn arcanae, the ones where your fists do cold or electric damage. Draconic is interesting: grow Claws; become a Dragon Disciple; take Feral Combat Training and Improved Naturual Attack.
Take levels in Mystic Theurge, Eldritch Knight, Arcane Archer. Do you think your DM might let you take Enlightened Fist or Sacred Fist from 3.5?
Just Brainstorming.

I don't think this is even that bad of a combo.
I would go Sohei Monk/Wis Sorcerer/Eldritch Knight and then a level of Cleric with some nice domain powers.
Then I would take Channel Smite and Guided Hand. Congrats, you now have Wisdom for AC, attack, arcane casting and divine casting.
Your GM better be using fractional BAB though.
You could also go Soc 1/Cleric 1/Monk X for Arcane Strike, Enlarge Person and Crusader's Flurry.

there is a human-specific Bloodline that gives you Wisdom-based casting, so that could make you more SAD.
Uh...Empyreal isn't human specific, and is the one you're thinking of that uses Wisdom. Imperial is human specific, but that's a completely different Bloodline, and a different word meaning something entirely different to boot.

I am going to be mostly utility but I am hoping with the extreme focus on wisdom and the fact that I will only realy be 1 level behind the curve on my cleric casting given the multiclass nature of the campaign, I will be able to obtain some DC worth throwing at stuff.
I'd throw my character off a cliff and roll for something else...rinse repeat as needed
I think I could find a more heroic way to die than that, lol. You know, poke a Tarrasque with a stick or something.
