Hmm. I started with the idea of an adamantine any-tool for extra usefulness, then thought to make it able to change into weapons as well. This is getting pricy.

Start with an adamantine hand hammer, add transformative, then switch all pluses to tool use. Transformative is what, plus 2, plus 3?
A hammer is a tool. I think there may be a lot of items that weren't made for adventurers, but could be very useful to a smart one.

How do you 'switch all pluses to tool use'?

+2 to hit and damage becomes +0 to hit and damage. If you use the omnitool to pick a lock or craft an item it's +2 to succeed.

Include a clause to the effect of "The enhancement bonus of the weapon applies to any skill check made while using the Adamantine Omnitool"

Language might need to be cleared up a bit, but something like that.

Not "any skill check." That's too powerful.

"Any Craft, Profession or Disable Device check" would be more in line with what the Omni-tool is supposed to be.

Well, I did say the language might need cleaning up.

I suppose I assumed that since the anytool turned into MW tools for Craft and Profession, it would be evident the bonus only applied to those checks.

But I suppose you're right, more specific wording is better.

"The enhancement bonus of the weapon applies to any Craft, Profession, or Disable Device skill checks made while using the Adamantine Omnitool"

I'm sorry, but am I the only one who sees the word "Omnitool" and think Mass Effect? I can't be the only one, right?
