Pathfinder Society

Silver Crusade

Good morning, I'm Walter from Italy and recently I join in Society.

I start to create my character, but I have some dubious.
Normaly in Pathfinder Roleplay games the outfit of character is free, Do I need to buy them in Society?

I have an other question, in the
Manual of Society i read this:
Your character’s choice of faction opens up additional trait choices presented in Chapter 4 of this guide. These faction traits count as campaign traits—in effect, they are the campaign traits for Pathfinder Society Organized Play."

I don't understand if the maximum trait obtainable is incrise by one, or you have two trait and you can chose one from faction.

I sorry for my bad English
Thanks a lot

Welcome to the Society, Walter! C:

Your character starts with a free outfit that can be worth up to 10GP.

You have two traits, and you can choose one from your faction.

Benvenuto!

Your character my choose two traits. In Society play, the campaign traits listed in the Advanced Player's Guide are not allowed; instead, you may pick one of the traits associated with your faction. For example, if your character is a member of the Silver Crusade, you may choose "A Sure Thing" as one of your two traits. Of course, you do not have to choose a faction trait. You might choose "Dangerously Curious" and "Reactionary", for example. I hope this helps.

No, you do not need to buy clothing. Just as in other play, you have clothes. You might choose to buy more expensive clothes if you want to, but there is no need.

Welcome Walter. As the others have said you do get a free outfit. And you only get two traits. I just wanted to make sure that you realize that you don't have to take a faction trait if you don't want to. It wasn't clear if you thought one of them had to be a faction trait or not so I just wanted to make sure you knew you.
