Closing the Pledge Manager in One Week! Finalize Those Pledges!

Backers, we are just a few weeks away from shipping out all the physical rewards from the Kickstarter, and so we're going to be closing the Pledge Manager next Friday June 6th.

After next Friday you will not be able to manage your pledge on paizo.com. We will import all the pledge data from paizo to goblinworks.com and you will be able to manage your account for Enrollment upgrades and future additions to the Goblinworks store.

If you have a positive balance on your pledge when the Pledge Manager closes, that balance will be transferred to Goblinworks and it will become store credit. You will be able to use that store credit for anything we make available via the Goblinworks store - which will all be related to in-game purchases, game time, and other MMO related content. You will not be able to use that balance to purchase Add-Ons related to the Kickstarter.

Please visit the Pledge Manager immediately and finalize your pledge.

Log in on paizo.com, and click the "My Account" link at the top of any page. Look for the "My Pledge Drives" section. Click the "View or Claim Kickstarter Pledges" to continue.

If you used a different email address on Kickstarter than you have used on paizo.com, you will need to email customer.service@paizo.com and request a Claim Code.

As we noted yesterday we have sold out of the Leatherette Covered Emerald Spire books. We have removed the Print Pack Add-On, the Miniatures Multiplier, and the Hellknights Most Wanted Add-Ons from the Pledge Manager.

If you included $100 for the Print Pack Add-On in your original pledge on Kickstarter, AND you did not already select the Print Pack Add-On in the Pledge Manager, please email customer.support@goblinworks.com, and in the subject please state "Print Pack Add-On Request". Only do this if you added the funds to your ORIGINAL Kickstarter Pledge during the Kickstarter. People who added funds and selected the Add-On in the Pledge Manager are not affected. We need to know how many people provided the funds for the Print Pack Add On but did not include it in a finalized Pledge. We will work directly with those affected on a suitable resolution of the problem.

You can see the Rewards and Add-Ons you have associated with your Pledge by visiting the Pledge Manager. If you see an Add-On listed in your Pledge, we have a record of your request. Be sure you have finalized your Pledge and transferred your account information to Goblinworks. If you do not see a green check mark on the "Transfer Information" tab to the right of Step #6, click tab #5, re-do steps #5 and #6. The Transfer Information tab to the right of #6 should then become active. This is likely caused by a caching issue between the browser and the server.

If you have changed the address you wish to receive your physical rewards at please email your new delivery address to customer.service@paizo.com.

Please note that at this time the only information we are displaying on the goblinworks.com Account page is your Enrollment Status (Open, Early or Alpha). We are not yet showing any other benefits that you may have selected as a Reward or as Add-Ons in the Pledge Manager. If you have transferred your information and you do not see an Enrollment status and you believe you should have Open, Early or Alpha Enrollment, please email customer.support@goblinworks.com.

When the pledge manager is "closed" will that mean that we will no longer be able to use it to see our selected kickstarter rewards? Or just that changes will no longer be possible on the Paizo.com website?

Before emailing (and to answer the questions I'm sure a number of others will ask) have you resolved the issues around getting Alpha status if you pledge for that level in the first Kickstarter?

I note with some distress the mention of 'in-game purchases' and 'other MMO related content.' To me, this sounds suspiciously like a micro-transaction based business model, something I find alarming. Is this really the direction PFO is expected to be going?

Hey, I got my Early Enrollmentness from a Guild Invite. I've confirmed all the stuff, but the downloads are off-limits (which may be for everyone) and I still ain't marked as GS.

What more do I need to do? Do I need a Claim Code? Or should I just wait for the stuff to show up?

Hrm.. if they invited you via Paizo it was my understanding you should be able to have access to the PDFs but in order to get the GS/ Early enrollment on your GW account you have to be invited via the GW site.


It's on my GW account, and thee are two items in my Downloads on Paizo. I just don't have a badge and honestly don't really know what else I'm gonna get, if anything.

Yeah, like I said, I did get them twice. My Goblinworks account does say I'm in EE, and my Paizo account does seem to be aware of this in that I have "Pathfinder Online: Behind the Scenes PDF" and "Pathfinder Online: Soundtrack (Download)" in my Downloads.

When I go to my Pledges, though, the only thing it shows is that I'm Buddies with the guy who gave me the Invite, and I obviously don't have the badge. ;P

I'll send Customer Support a wave when I get home. Thanks!

iirc in one of the kickstarter emails, it stated that we don't have the ability to dish-out the add-ons to specific accounts yet. An example would be that 3 of our guildies purchased the Twice-Marked add-on, but at this point, I'm the only one with any (and all three).

No problem! I was getting concerned for a while, and then I saw email update #76:

We will have a process to distribute stuff from the Kickstarter to various accounts once we have a more fully-functioning store and account management system. Right now the only thing that really concerns us is Enrollment status so that's what we focused on getting up and running. Everything else will come in time and we know people want that stuff before Early Enrollment so we have motivation to get progress made in that area.

If we bought the GUILD package during the KS, will all the Physical, rewards be sent to the main account holder.

I ask because the folks I have sent Invites to saw no where to add their addresses.

Do not mind being the point to give stuff out for our 6 folks just want to be sure they get it all.

On your master account, you will be sending them the buddy invites. Once they accept, they need to login to the same area, and they will see that they are a buddy of you (instead of having their own kickstarter package - the buddy part is right below that on the same page). From there, they will select their shipping addresses.

On you main account, you'll see on the kickstarter tool, over on the right-hand side, messages about buddies that don't have shipping adresses, and buddies that do. The messages there are a little chaotic, but decipherable.

For those of us who pledged the extra for the print add-on pack as part of the initial KS but now are not able to select it, are we supposed to just finalize our pledge as-is, leaving a $100 overpayment? I sent an email to support as requested but only got a canned reply about GW looking over other options for us, with no instructions as to how to proceed with the pledge manager. I've already asked this on the KS site with no response, now I'm trying here - PLEASE let me know what to do.

Yes, that is what to do. You need to tell us though that you have this problem. KS Update #81 has specific instructions, which I've copied below as a reminder:

if I have a pledge balance of 0 and all the rewards on the list that I want...

I can ignore the more and more urgent and very phishing looking "Response Needed! Click here!!!" emails from kickstarter?

It turns out that's a quite-unusual Kickstarter survey; it's not obvious what action's needed. There's ONE box at the bottom that you have to put something into in order to satisfy their system, and then those emails'll stop.

In my pledge manager everything is green checks... except buddy invites. That's a big ol' red X despite my buddy having accepted, no other invites to send, and his account having been successfully transferred to Goblinworks.

@Jester David - if you were able to Finalize that pledge, you're good to go.

@Dakcenturi - We are going to close the pledge manager. So people with Guild and Buddy invites will still be able to send the game invites via goblinworks.com but they won't be able to get those people the physical components of their rewards, which are all going out at once.

If you do not want the minis to get lost, I would advise people with buddy and guildpledges who have not been able to gift these yet, to create a second account themselves and make that a buddy or guild account. Then let the physical rewards be sent to your adress too. Then, once you find your buddies/guildees you can gift them the account *and* the physical rewards(minis) if they want them.

If you think they are not that interested in the minis anyway, then you could hold off doing this, I assume all the digital rewards will still be available untill a later date.

Only 1 day left to do this though.

I actually completely forgot I pledged to this until today. Alas, I only put in enough to buy the game, not be in the alpha. Oh well, hope everyone has fun and shapes this into an awesome game.

I already recieve the invite from Pledge, already accept it showing my Guild Leader as my "Buddy", still I don't have Goblin Squad tiltle, nor the bonus downloads in My Downloads. Tho I merged paizo account to goblinwors one, and I still being able to vote on Land Rush.

So? What was going wrong over there? Anybody have same problem?

PS: Already talking with costumer@email, but still have the problem...

I'm pretty sure I've done everything that's required, I got the 6 completed boxes, and a seventh box with a big green tick, in the Paizo KS page, got myself a GW account, and clicked the link on Paizo to join the two.

I'm still getting the 'URGENT - RESPONSE REQUIRED!' emails, which do give me the willies, so can anyone confirm these are a mass-mailing to all backers, not just the people with a problem?

I did cover myself by adding a one-line response in the linked page, this morning, as suggested by Jazzlvraz. If that's the solution, then I second that it's not clear a response is actually required from people who've done all the above.

I have the exact same issue, with one exception: Two downloads show up under My Downloads as things I can't download yet.

Paizo customer service is going through the inbox as fast as possible to get people their claim code email. We are very very swamped right now. I would highly recommend in general, if you are missing your claim code, search through your inbox for the original email before contacting customer service as that will likely be faster for you. Claim codes are sent to the email address kickstarter gave us when we imported the data from them last year. Try searching your inbox(es) for an email with the subject line: Pathfinder Online Kickstarter Pledge Management Now Open!

Some people who are still having issues accessing their pledges already created their account last year but never finalized their pledge. If you are unsure if you created a paizo.com account, try searching your email inbox(es) for a email with the subject like: "Your paizo.com Account"

If someone reads this who does need a claim code. Please email us instead of messageboards because it makes it go a lot faster on our end and we have a lot of these requests to get through. Include in your email:

  • The email address you use(d) for kickstarter.com
  • The name you use(d) on kickstarter
  • Your pledge level if you know it
