In need of assistance with Magus

Advice

So I've been wondering two things.

The stats I received were: 14,12,14,16,11,10
I want to become a Bladebound Magus Tiefling.
Meaning I also get +2 dex and int and -2 cha.
How should I use these stats?

Also considering the feat Dervish Dance, you must have a free off hand when using this feat but the Magus uses his off hand for spells. Does this still count as a off hand during combat?

The hand you use for spells is a free hand, even when holding the charge.

Scarab Sages

Dervish Dance is a very popular option for the magus.

Okay so I get the Dervish Dance part but what about the stats?

Int>Dex>Con>Str

Dump Wis, dump cha.

Dex>Int>Con>Wis>Str>Cha

Dump charisma to the moon, try to keep str at 10-12 if you're not starting at level 3; wisdom is still handy for will and perception but you need no more than 12 at most.
If doing Hexcrafter as well as blade bound, consider making Int highest priority. Otherwise...while normally Id say a caster should be maxing his casting stat as much as possible...Magus is a caster who hits things w/ full AC with his spells and not hitting means not delivering the spell (at least it stays held to deliver on a later attack), so dex takes slightly higher priority. But...Hexcrafter has spells and Slumber...he wants Int highest.

i'm with stream...
if you want to be combat focused put the 16 in dex and a 14 in int
if you want to play a hexcrafter to control and debuff switch those

either way, i'd probably go with Str 11, Con 14, Wis 12, and Cha 10 (-2)
if you're starting at 1st you might want to switch Str and Wis just to help out until dervish dance comes online but in the longterm Wis will be worth more for Will saves, perception, and sense motive.

I'm currently playing a level 4 Bladebound Fiendflayer Tiefling Magus. My stats after racials and level 4 bump are as follows

18 str
17 dex
13 con
18 int
12 wis
8 cha

Feats are Improved Initiative and Power attack for my level 1 and 3.

Bonus feats from Kensei are exotic weapon: Katana and weapon focus Katana.

I'm extremely happy with my current build and usually lay waste to most encounters. With just potions of mage armor and the shield spell, its pretty difficult to hit me. I think my AC unbuffed is 17, 21 with mage armor or shield and 25 with both.

This is my first PF character and I was also torn between being a str build or dex build. I opted to make my character in the image of a strong pseudo samurai. I like to think of my spells more like mystical powers that fuel my swordsmanship.

Something like:

Str 11
Dex 16+2
Con 14
Int 14+2
Wis 12
Cha 10-2

level 1 - weapon finesse
level 3 - dervish dance

Dude, that is a 35 point buy stat array. Of course your character is powerful.

Guess I got some lucky rolls. We did 4d6 drop the lowest.

Even so, the stats he has are barely lower than mine, so his character can be just as effective.

16 str
16 dex 2 from Tiefling
12 con
16 int 2 from Tiefling
11 wis
8 chr -2 from Tiefling
