Roge and Ninja Requirements

Rules Questions

I can't find any wording or rules to answer this question the write up on alternate classes is fairly brief on the SRD so the question is does a rogue count as a ninja and vice verse for feat / Item requirements? an example A rogue with the Vanish ninja trick get to use the ninja specific benefit of the Shozoku of the Night Wind( http://www.archivesofnethys.com/MagicWondrousDisplay.aspx?FinalName=Shozoku %20of%20the%20Night%20Wind )

If you could do direct me to any rules or written text in Paizo official products that would say rogue and ninja are one in the same for this I would appreciate it as my DM probably wouldn't except an educated opinion on it without written back up.

All alternate classes (Ninja, Samurai, AntiPaladin) are just advanced Archetypes, treat them as archetypes for all intents and purposes.
It is possible to stack these archetypes as per the usual rules for such, but you cannot also have the original class (Ninja cannot also be a rogue or the new rogue/alchemist Advanced class).

"Alternate classes are standalone classes whose basic ideas are very close to established base classes, yet whose required alterations would be too expansive for an archetype. An alternate class operates exactly as a base class, save that a character who takes a level in an alternate class can never take a level in its associated class—a samurai cannot also be a cavalier, and vice versa."

From D20 Alternate classes.
