Summoner to Eldritch Knight Transition

Advice

1. For the summoner's eidolon, what is its HP at lvl1 and growth rules for PFS?
2. When I take levels as an Eldritch Knight, does my Summon Monster spell as a summoner also improve if the effective class level is reached as well?
3. Same case as #2, does the effective Eidolon level increase too?

Sorry for if these seems like noob questions but reading CRB and APG makes it seem it could be taken both ways...

Eldritch Knight only increases your spellcasting, not your other class features. So your eidolon and summon monster SLA are both stuck where they were before.

What RainyDayNinja said. At present, there is only one PrC published which actually does anything to maintain a Summoner's prime abilities beyond base spellcasting, and you need to have a copy of Inner Sea Gods to use it in PFS.

OK... how about HP growth? I've set it at 10HP for lvl1 for now, but I'm still confused how Eidolons will be handled for further levels.

Since the Eidolon only gains anything from continuing levels of Summoner or Evangelist PrC, they aren't handled for further levels. That is what RainyDayNinja was saying. Summoners don't work with multiclassing unless you don't care about your Eidolon staying stuck at whatever your Summoner level is.

If you continue with the Summoner class, there is a FAQ that specifically addresses the HP of the Eidolon. Something like 5.5HP per level rounded down, but I would check it first. I do not believe you get 10HP even at level 1.

As mentioned nothing happens with the Eidolon when you take EK levels. Nothing improves except the summoners spell progression.

This is a highly un-optimal build, but depending on what you're going for it could be fun.

Well I was thinking of a Serpentine Eidolon with magical flight specializing on Perception & Stealth to cover me as EK, especially since with Diverse Training I still get to unlock bonus combat feats later on.

I'm still think on what level I should eventually stop taking up Summoner levels and how many fighter levels to grab before EK.

Any advice? I've only played a barbarian over my first two games (first table-top RPG games too...), and he's pretty straight forward. :)

HERE is the relevant FAQ. It talks about Animal Companions and their d8 hit die, but it's easy to extrapolate the same idea to Eidolons and their d10 hit die.

Honestly, I'd stick with straight Summoner for that. You've got 3/4 BAB and d8 hit die, so you can be a decent melee guy, if a bit short on feats. I think you stand to lose more on your eidolon going to EK than you stand to gain for yourself. Plus, qualifying the normal way means your first EK level would be at 9, when your PFS career is mostly over.
