In the Pathfinder Campaign Setting, Fey Revisited book, I am uncertain and bothered by my inability to understand the attack bonuses for the sample dryad, Amalya as they are writen...Would anyone please be able to explain the attack bonuses as written for this sample stat block?

Specifically the +5 for the Club, and + 11 for the dagger. It seems like Amalya should be penalized for TWF? Should there not be a TWF penalty included in this attack as written of -4, -8 (off hand weapon is light/no twf feat)?

Thanks in advance to all who attempt to answer.

Would help if I posted the stat block, right...?

Can someone please tell me how the authors are calculating the melee attack for club and dagger as written below...

Club:BAB+5, Strength bonus+0 (what, no TWF penalty? If so, then why?)

Dagger:BAB+5, Weapon Finesse +4, +1(from where?, and no TWF?)

What am I missing, is this an oversight by the authors?

No TWF needed as not using club and dagger at the same time - it is one or the other.

The dryad has a +5 Dex bonus, not +4 so it is +5 BAB +5 Dex = +10 to hit with dagger.

Well the way it is written means the weapons are intended to be used together, during a full attack.

If the club and dagger where written with an "or", then it would be one or the other.

Use either club or dagger wrote:
Melee club +5 (1d6),or dagger +10 (1d4)

Thanks amethal, I suspected as you have, that they may have intended the weapons to be used either, or, and not twf. However, the way the attack is written with a "," instead of an "or" is confusing.
