The Various individuals have all entered the lottery in the City of Wati to gain the Honor of looting various tombs as decreed by the Ruby Prince

the lottery starts when each individual is granted a small semi-precious token that will assign them to their fellows for exploring the tomb, and are told to arrive the following day with a name for their group.
The Ankh and Scepter Inn is the assigned meeting place for the individuals we shall be following.
First to arrive is a human male clad in robes over an armored coat, he lays his jadeite token on the table – this proceeds to move of its own accord , next to enter is a scaled humanoid in flowing robes of the desert with a khopesh at his or her hip and a multitude of ranged weapons.
Following them arrive in turn a scarred half orc in ragged clothing carrying a pistol and little else, a male tall human with an aloof manner a spellbook and a light blade. Next a human woman in silks and fine cloth with a single scimitar followed by what appears to be a well groomed, scented and trained large rat. Another woman with a lithe and stealthy foot, masked in light clothes is next, the observant notice a slight point to her ears. Finally a tall man in swarthy robes over a shining breastplate carrying a mighty flail enters and joins the others at the table throwing down a jadeite token to join the others on the table.
They join in conversation , introducing themselves and discussing many names for their group eventually they settle on the Jadeite Seven. The Half-orc goes by the name Rushdash and mainly uses his pistol and knowledge of engineering, the Masked woman goes by the name of Amber, while the girl in silks Edna. The robed human first to the table is a divine caster from the local by the name of Kapheri, while the reptilian is Ssemi, aloof man with a spellbook is a swordmage by the name of Ringer Bell, while the flail armed warrior is an inquisitor named Hari. They then arrive at sunset to the ceremony where they find the local clergy overseeing the explorations. The rules are explained – mostly about treating the tombs with respect and minimizing the damage, while allowing them to loot the tombs they are assigned – the first of which is in the north of the necropolis.
They proceed towards the tomb and on the way as they pass through the streets the half orc and half elf cry out a moments warning as 2 disheveled craven creatures of humanoid shape scuttle out of the ruins and towards the group, the half orc attempts to shoot one with his pistol but the girl in silks was too close and gets in the way, letting out a yelp of pain as the shot grazes her. The robed warrior Hari suddenly grows to twice his size and uses the extra might to smash in the skull of the first creature, the reptilian Ssemi hisses out a warning “ghouls” causing the other party members a moment of fear. Ringer lashes out with a swing of his sword and a globe of acid dispatching his foe.
With this they proceeded to the tomb they had been assigned, to find the entrance blocked by the accumulation of sand, this took some time to clear. Once done they forced the doors open between the mighty warrior and the magus. Once inside the Amber inspected the mechanism of the next door to the small room they entered, while distracted outside a local scorpion attacked, defending its lair, stinging Rushdash before being surrounded and eventually smashed into oblivion by the inquisitor.
After this the group worked together to open the large circular covering to the tomb and Rushdash and Amber wedged the door open. This led to another room containing a vertical shaft descending to the edge of the half-orc vision, seeing a rope already in place the party were worried that others had got to the tomb first but saw that the rope was severed- they placed their own rope and oddly the inquisitor chose to climb down first, managing with comparative ease despite his armour, the gunslinger then tried, managing much of the rope before falling and twisting his shoulder with a yelp of pain, the Edna followed but slipped from almost half-way landing badly and falling into unconsciousness, the others proceeded with more care and did not slip, when Ssemi called on his divine power to heal the others. They found the desiccated corpse of a human dead some years with both legs broken , though somehow two flasks were undamaged and eventually identified as naphtha.
