Demon, Swaithe - slumber hex is not mentioned in its list of hexes but it is used in its description.

Grand Lodge

Pg. 99 - Variant spellcasting for worshipers of Lamashtu

According to the variant spellcasting rules for worshipers of Lamashtu, druids can prepare baleful polymorph as a 5th-level spell, but all druids already get this spell at that spell-level. It's uncertain if they meant to make it earlier than that.

Grand Lodge

Pg. 164 - Zon-Kuthon obedience

Last sentence of this obedience mentions a sacred bonus. It probably meant to be a profane bonus.

Grand Lodge

Pg. 206 - Feats table

In the feats table, the feat Riptide Attack needs a cross superscript, denoting it's a combat feat.

Grand Lodge

Pg. 208 - Butterfly's Sting feat

This feat first appeared in Player Companion: Faiths of Purity, where it was designated as a critical feat. It's reprint here omits this, and it's unclear if this was intentional or not.

Grand Lodge

Pg. 214 - Ordered Mind feat

This feat first appeared in Player Companion: Faiths of Corruption, where its prerequisites included "worshiper of Asmodeus." It's unclear if the omission of this line was an update or an oversight in its reprinting here.

Grand Lodge

Pg. 216 - Spiked Destroyer feat

This feat first appeared in Player Companion: Faiths of Balance, where its prerequisites included "worshiper of Gorum." It's unclear if the omission of this line was an update or an oversight in its reprinting here.

Grand Lodge

Pg. 230 - Caustic blood spell

This spell has a material component in the form of a "vial of black adder venom." The word "vial" may also mean a "dose" of this poison, which means it basically has a material component cost of 120 gp.

Grand Lodge

Pg. 243 - Symbol of dispelling spell

Because this spell is "based off of symbol of death", it stands to reason it may also inherit its text about being made permanent with the permanency spell. If this is true, then following other spells of this spell-level, it would have a minimum caster level of 16th and a price of 20,000 gp to be made permanent.

Additionally, in this spell's Duration line, "instantaneous" should probably be changed to "See text" since it behaves like the other symbol spells it's based off of.

Grand Lodge

Pg. 243 - Symbol of debauchery spell

Because this spell is "based off of symbol of death", it stands to reason it may also inherit its text about being made permanent with the permanency spell. If this is true, then following other spells of this spell-level, it would have a minimum caster level of 16th and a price of 20,000 gp to be made permanent.

Grand Lodge

Pg. 298 - Arcanotheign stat block

The arcanotheign is missing the extraplanar subtype.

Grand Lodge

Pg. 306 - Sunlord Thalachos stat block

Sunlord Thalachos' environment line should probably be changed from "any (extraplanar)" to "any (Nirvana)".

Grand Lodge

Pg. 310 - The Grand Defender stat block

I'd say there's a better than fair chance that this creature's subtype is missing the lawful and good subtypes.

Grand Lodge

Pg. 314 - The Prince in Chains stat block

This creature's missing its herald subtype.

Pgs. 316 and onward - Deity Appendix

ISSUE 1: A number of gods listed here received other subdomains from Champions of Purity, but were omitted here. Specifically:

- Cayden Cailean: Revelry
- Desna: Imagination, Revelry
- Erastil: Cooperation
- Iomedae: Judgment, Redemption, Revelation
- Sarenrae: Redemption, Revelation
- Shelyn: Imagination
- Torag: Judgment
- Apsu: Judgment
- Kurgess: Cooperation

ISSUE 2: A few evil gods, namely Quindiovatos, Uruskreil, and Rubicante, grant access to the Glory domain, but this domain provides spells that have the good descriptor. The GM may need to step in and alter these when conflicts come up.

That's not really an error, it's the "LOL, nothing matters" nature of Player Companions. Gods as a rule have a fixed number of domains/subdomains so that they all offer the same breadth of abilities. Player Companions periodically invent new stuff that you can use, but you'll never see them referenced in other lines as acceptable sources. If they were going to integrate new domains and subdomains into a later printing it wouldn't be by adding extras, it would be by rebalancing the gods sot hat they still have the same standard number of options for their power level (god or demigod).

Well, Inner Sea Gods did reprint a number of subdomains from the Champions books and others. It's just that in Champions of Purity et al those were envisioned mostly as 'replacement' subdomains for GM purview.

As for other things that are totally actually errata, Damerrich is missing the Murder subdomain.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Do not know if joking or not. I don't see any source that says he should.

Pg. 323. Ketephys' favorite weapon is a bow, which I'm relatively certain should be a short bow or a long bow.

Pg. 147 - Variant spellcasting for Shelyn

At the end of each section for the core deities in this book is a side bar that includes a paragraph or two of variant spellcasting options for that deity. Each of these sections appear to be reprints of the various deity articles that have appeared in past Adventure Paths.

Shelyn's is a reprint from her article on page 75 of the second part of the Jade Regent AP, Night of Frozen Shadows. It looks like one variant spellcasting option mentioned in that article was left out of the reprint in Inner Sea Gods, specifically the bit about how her bards may learn eagle's splendor as if it were a 1st-level spell.

It's unclear if its omission was intended to be an update (as in it's too good of a benefit that early) or left out by mistake.

Grand Lodge

Pg. 115 - Variant spellcasting for Norgorber

Like Shelyn above, Norgorber has variant spellcasting options that were originally part of another article from another source, in this case the Norgorber article from AP #59, Skull & Shackles: The Price of Infamy.

In that article from the AP, the text says:
"Clerics and druids of Blackfingers may SPONTANEOUSLY cast poison as a 3rd-level spell."

And then further along:
"Clerics of Father Skinsaw may SPONTANEOUSLY cast slay living as a 5th-level spell. Clerics of the Gray Master may SPONTANEOUSLY cast clairaudience/clairvoyance as a 3rd-level spell."

Notice the word "spontaneously." It implies that once those classes get to a high enough caster level to cast at those spell-levels, they may swap out prepared spells for these spells like they do with inflict and summon nature's ally spells, respectively.

Inner Sea Gods, however, reprinted and in some cases updated many of the variant castings mentioned in these AP deity articles. Norgorber's section in ISG says those same priests of the Gray Master may PREPARE clairaudience/clairvoyance as a 3rd-level spell, so that LOOKS like an update (or might not, and means clerics may both prepare it AND spontaneously cast it), but it also says clerics of Father Skinsaw can PREPARE circle of death as a 6th-level spell and clerics of Blackfingers can PREPARE pernicious poison as a 2nd-level spell, which are entirely different spells, spell levels, and casting methods than what's in S&S.

In other words, it's hard to tell if the text in ISG is meant to completely override those variant castings from AP #59 (because after all, the variant casting option for the Reaper of Reputation was reprinted verbatim), or if they're meant to coincide together.

I know no one probably reads this any longer, but I noticed something on the Iophanite Angel (p.293).
It has a listed Acrobatics bonus of +1, and a Fly bonus of +7...how is that happening?

Dex bonus of +3.
Maneuverability of Perfect (+8)

Acrobatics should be +3 (although it's strange they list it since usually only skills with ranks, racial bonuses or other bonuses are listed -- which makes me think ranks are assigned, but then how does it get even less?)

Fly should be +11

Or am I missing something?

You're right. If you just reverse engineer the skills, you get the following:

1) Intimidate, all 3 Knowledge skills, and Perception have a full 5 ranks applied to them. This leave 5 ranks to put somewhere else.
2) Intimidate and Knowledge (geography) were chosen as 2 skills that get to be class skills for outsiders (they get up to 4 extra skills as class skills).
3) If we put all 5 ranks into Acrobatics, that would make it a +8 bonus (5 + 3[Dex]), or a +11 bonus if it was intended to also be a free outsider class skill. This means Fly would be +11 as you mentioned, with no ranks in it.

Since there's no way of telling what the intention was or where the math error was, I'm recommending doing the following with those 5 unspent skill ranks:

- Put 3 ranks in Acrobatics and assume it was chosen as a class skill for the angel. This results in a +9 bonus and lets the angel take advantage of the AC increase when fighting defensively or using the total defense action.
- Put 2 ranks in Fly. Since having a fly speed automatically makes Fly a class skill, this results in a total bonus of +16.

Thanks Strife, at least I know I'm not wrong about it. :)

p116 Pharasma: The order of the Exalted and Evangelist boon list is swapped compared to all other listings, or just the titles are switched.

It's unclear if the person that runs Archives of Nethys received official word from the designers or if they were just on autopilot and wrote the titles in alphabetical order first before copy/pasting the boons in, but on that page they've swapped the titles.
