So here I am. It's yet another fighter thread, but this one is at least trying to not be argumentative, and I'm ready to say my piece. I usually avoid these threads, but I say to myself, no. I may not be making the best case, or even the most original, but I love this class and I'm gonna talk about why for once. I'm gonna make my stand.

So I write up a big post. I'm speaking from my heart here—really trying to get across how I can agree with most fighter bashers and still think it's a decently-built class.

Only, by the time I'm done, there's a new post from four minutes ago.

Believe it or not, this is the second time this has happened to me this year.

I don't even have the heart to close the tab with my Eternal Preview Post Screen. I just keep it open, staring at it longingly, thinking, "What if?"

Incidentally, guys, anybody need a black magic specialist? I think I've got you covered.

I'm just hiding from the OTD spam.

Say, did you know you can save 15% or more on your car insurance by switching to Geico?

Oh that's such a scam. I've had so many friends screwed by Geico over the years.

Heheh, happened to me a couple of times too, and for one of them it was probably a good thing I didn't get to reply... :)

The only time I ever called Geico, the rates they quoted me were over twice what I was currently paying.

I'm actually kind of surprised it was available.

Nah, staff members can pick their own avatars.

Our avatars are unique, as well

A little-known fact is that Sebastian and my smurfter ego are actually Paizo Secret Police.

What just changed you into a smurf version of yourself?

Edit: What the???

If you write smurf in your post, you get a smurf avatar for that post...

And yeah, I am surprised at what Kobold Cleaver got.

Do you have some secret trick to making your "smurf" avatar look like your normal avatar, or was that just luck? 'Cause if its a trick, I'd like to know it.

I just told you. The curse Gary Tater placed for not taking my duties of oppression and secret-keeping seriously is that nobody believes me when I try to tell them my true identity.

The secret trick is to yell at Gary Teter lots. Oh, and threadyap. Don't forget to threadyap. Just do your best to waste his time and you're sure to get your very own avatar!

I have to try this out: Smurf!

EDIT: That is so cool! Does any one know about any others? How about Dinosaurs?

Gary should just smite you with his iron fist. (Tentacle? Pseudopod?)

I noticed he changed my quote. That could have something to do with it.

Oh does Capitalizing it deactivate it?

he he he!

Edit:

Ancient Slaadi Sekrit:
The letter S in the Ѕmurf in Cheapy's "quoted" text isn't a standard ASCI S, so PMG's filter/avatar switcher doesn't trip.

So, I posted a thread about Paizo's inclusion of LGBT stuff in story materiels, cause we aren't supposed to debate that in the Homosexuality in Golarion thread. Only a couple posts. Oh, well, right? Later on, though, the thread gets moved and explodes, but by that time I'm drowning in schoolwork. I wait excitedly for a time I am not busy so I can join my thread, and tonight I get a break, rush to my thread, and it is locked because things got out of hand.

I am sorely disappoint.

Yeah it can be rather frustrating when you go to make a post and they lock the thread while you are typing... happened to me twice now.

Sadly, there are individuals here that admittedly spam the Flag buttons on posts that make points they don't like in a lot of the "hot button" threads, just to get them locked. There are a few staffs that do similar things as well, sadly link, which ironically was also locked.

I kind of want a 'dislike' button, like on youtube.

I want to be able to passive aggressively be a jerk as opposed to my normal aggressively being a jerk.

Dangit, Liz. I had over three hundred words prepared to explain how my characters weren't cardboard. Now all I have left is sad face.

:(

I'm honestly not too thrilled at the recent surge in "locking this thread because it's getting off-topic" incidents. Back in my day, we spammed threads about how the Forums were Way Too Long, and we liked it that way! *Shakes stick*

I know! I was about to give a real-life example backing up Jiggy's occasional feelings (of a sort). But alas, such was not meant to be.
