Lost Confirmation

Pathfinder Society

I started playing PFS to build up a character for PaizoCon. When it seemed I could not afford to go, I discarded a small paper which an event coordinator gave me containing my character number and confirmation code.

2 days later, my wife surprised me with tickets to PaizoCon. I never registered the character. I do still have his character number. He had 3 sessions under his belt, 2 as a player one as a GM.

The GM / event coordinator says he does not have any record of the character numbers and confirmation codes.

Does anyone have any bright ideas to help me reclaim those lost xp?

Step 1: do you have a larger paper (the chronicle sheet) That says "the confirmation" on it? Thats the official record of your adventures, whether you registered the character or not.

_______ also known as _____ has played in this scenario

Your pfs number should be on there somewhere.

Step 2: If the event was reported there SHOULD be some record of it.

See if you can change the title to "Lost PFS number: please help. Someone that can look into it should be along eventually.

He's taking about the Confirmation code on the new player # thingy, not The Confirmation Scenario.

If the card given to you was part of the last 10 numbers downloaded by the GM/Organizer they can reprint the sheet and get you the confirmation number. So contact the person who gave you the card.

Without that confirmation code you are stuck with two options. Both are a pain in the butt.

The first is to Join the Society, and get an membership attached to your Paizo account. Once you do this when you log in to the My Pathfinder Society page your membership number will be displayed. Then contact the coordinator of the event and have them switch all of the online reporting information for you to the new number, and get new paperwork issued to match the new number.

The only other option is to contact the campaign coordinator Mike Brock to see what information you need to provide for Paizo to go into your account so they can add the number you have.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

I came here looking for a story about a TPK during 5-08 The Confirmation.

You actually only need two things: The PFS number that's on your chronicles and the PFS number you can access on your paizo account (you get that by simply creating your PFS account while you're logged in to your paizo account). Contact Mike Brock and give him those two numbers, he will then try to merge them. In most cases, this will work and the character you will register will have his sessions listed.

The same happened to one of my players some time ago, and it got solved really quickly.

I can't give you that story, but I can tell you about a gnome summoner who got washed out to sea during that scenario.
