The Incorporation Of Real Skills Into The Game

Gamer Life General Discussion

It has come to my attention that the Pathfinder player is being kicked out. We don't need avatar pic selection screen what we need is to draw our own g$+++~ pictures create our own g&*$## pieces and to use our own g&$#*$ playing/acting/thinking skills. When it's all done for us this is what we call a movie. The point of this game was to design an arrangement of rules and tables that worked together to provide us with a mediator that makes the game real not to produce all the imaginative work for us. Thank You.

I'm sorry ArchmageDB. I'm sure there are lots of people on here who would be happy to help you out. Sadly, I don't think I understand your point. I somewhat doubt others will either.

Could you rephrase?

Smells of Troll Sandwich.

That or I think he wants to have things more customizable like his avatar, minis, and modules? Or he doesn't like minis? I just don't know.

It might be worth questioning this assumption. That's not what I bought it for (for example) - I buy Paizo stuff for the imaginative work, not for the rules.

A game which catered exactly to yours or my tastes wouldnt sell very well. Being broadly successful entails catering to many disparate preferences - that necessarily involves compromise and the occasional 'miss' according to any one specific customer.

I agree...

I think he's stating they wanted to be able to import a custom avatar as his/her first statement. They then are talking about utilizing normal roleplaying, such as roleplaying a situation rather than making diplomacy, bluff or other rolls for a railroad adventure?

That's the best guess I can make from what they wrote.

I'd also hazard a guess that either they are drunk, high, or English is not their first language and they used a translator program.
