Sanctioning of Tears at Bitter Manor?

GM Discussion

Liberty's Edge 3/5

To the secret masters of the Pathfinder Society, particularly the pony-tailed one,

Any chance of getting Tears at Bitter Manor sanctioned a la Dragon's Demand? With the Campaign Cards shipping this month, I finally have all the pieces I need to run the module, which looks like it's going to be a blast. It'd be easier to dragoon convince some of the local players to sign up for the scenario if it also granted them PFS credit.

I know you guys are swamped with development work and that sanctioning stuff is low on the priority list, but even an ETA would be helpful.

Thanks for continuing to make PFS awesome!

Considering last we heard of Wardens of the Reborn Forge was "shelved until other deadlines are caught up with" I wouldn't be too hopeful for Tears Sanctioning anytime before GenCon.

Silver Crusade 5/5

Pretty much what Pirate Rob said. I could potentially see it getting sanctioned first due to the fact that it is a lower level module, but if I were you I wouldn't go holding my breath. The powers that be have a lot on their plates right now.

Oh, I figure as much, but I also figure it has a higher priority for sanctioning since it's in the 5-8 range, vice the 12-14 range, so there's always hope.

Since Tears at Bitter Manor is now pfs sanctioned, I do have a question. This is pertaining to the notion that 1 book module credits have to be on the same pc.

For the sake of argument, you have already played or GMed it and in trying to get a group to go through again. Let's say first time you played and this time you are the gm. If the group falls apart after the 1st crediting chronicle is out and by the time you get a new group together, your pc that got part 1 gm credit is out of range to get part 2 credit. Does another character you have get credit or what else happens?

Each chronicle is independent of the other, so they can, for GMs or players in campaign mode, be given to different PCs. However, for the PC to gain the boon from the second chronicle, they need to have both chronicles.

Another necro.

So, for PFS mode, any estimates on length of each of the 2 parts for PFS?

Liberty's Edge 3/5

Campaign mode, but it took about four sessions, divided pretty neatly into two for part one and two for part two.

What time frame?

I have run both parts but I run fast. So I would add time to what I do.

Part 1- 6.5 hours

Part 2 - 8.5 hours
The party had to go back to Part 1 to finish some of the quests they skipped.
